New plan. Pick up a OT!

Post by Great Natale »

I don't like the way things are headed with Samuels. I heard he might get the largest signing bonus in Redskin history. I know it won't bode well for next season, but for future survial maybe we should cut our losses. Rams are doing the same with their franchise "jerk." I hear thatAlex Barron is good, but I know next to nothing on Offensive Linemen.

IF there is a good prospect out there who most importantly has good character issues (ie he isn't going to rape us in negotiations) then we should consider that with our 9th pick. Hell maybe even trade down if possible. I don't like that we have to do this, I much rather draft a playmaker, but this could be a very sensible thing to do.

Ive been looking at the combine and this draft will be chock full of decent olinemen. I think we're going to draft a couple of o-linemen in this draft.

Using them in coordination with last years pickups, I think Gibbs may be thinking ahead in regards to the future of this line.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Many GM's (including Charley Casserly) have said this is the deepest draft for offensive linemen in 10-15 years!

Remember, we drafted 2 tackles last season (Wilson and Molinaro)....they are being groomed. But if a stud falls you have to take a shot.

I like Cory Raymer but if a decent Center (a lot of them) is available we should get one to compete with Raymer this summer.

I agree with your premise Natale, I would just rather see us work on the interior line than the Tackle position.

oafusp, I hadn't heard that about the qualityof the Linemen in this draft. That's good to know.
