Betts or Watson?
If you could turn back time and go back to a place where we had two young hopeful RB's on our team, knowing what you know now, who would you take? LAdell Betts or Kenny Watson?

If I could turn back time, I probably still would have taken Betts, but if I had to look back on it and pick, I would go with kenny Watson, of course.

Betts. No question. He may never develop but, at this point at least, he's got a much greater upside. He's just as good as Watson is now and has the potential to one day be a lot better.
Watson was a nice player for one season, but he's never going to be anything more than a journeyman anyway. I had no problem with going with Betts instead. For that matter, I didn't object to Sultan McCullough.

Although I like Trung, Betts and Watson had more of a one, two punch in the previous year.

I'll wait and see what Coach thinks.
Watson gets my vote over Trung Canidate only because he didn't fit in Spurrier's system.
I use the Stephen Davis model for comparision, since he didn't fit either. 1,500 yards this season, and still counting...
I brought up McCullough in an earlier thread, but so many people said he was too small. Me ? I'm not so sure.
