If we get a QB in the 7th, it needs to be buck Pierce. He has some mobility to give him the ability to buy a half a second or so. He doesn't screw stuff up.

C'mon. We're still having them with Rod. It's all about his "potential" still. One good year does not a career Redskin make. Let him ply his wares some"wares" else.
I like the idea of Taylor or DMac coming up to replace him. At least there's an element of surprise there. With Rod, you know if he caught the last one, he's good for three consecutive drops, either at the moment it hits him between the numbers or during the ensuing dash to the sidelines.

True. I am just so confused at the fact that we must make this years draft pick count.

I dont want to watse it on another potential "Rod Gardner."

There's no need to draft a WR anyway. We're not so bad there, depth-wise.

I do think we need more depth at the TE position.

How bout we Trade Garner and somebody for KW11?

There is no "KW11".
He's hobbled now. He's like, KW 1 1/2. :)
He ain't even tried on his daddy's shoes yet, much less wore 'em.

If we draft Chris Rix, I will heckle him unmercilessly at camp. He stinks.

Thanks for all the "Welcomes".

Usually I'd just read and move on, but the mere mention of Rix being drafted by the Redskins was more than I could resist! He is the main reason why FSU has fallen from a top 5 team fourteen years in a row, to whatever they are now. The guy is uncoachable, has horrible mechanics, doesn't understand how to read defenses or make decent decisions.
On the other hand, he's an outstanding athlete. I hope he ends up in the Arena league so I can go heckle him myself!

The last thing the 'skins need is a stupid, pretty-boy wanna-be QB.

His tag when he got to FSU read "LKOUTDB", complete with a #16 on the doors of his vehicle. He then, as a freshman, handed out "business cards" that read "Chris Rix, Quarterback, Florida State". Then there's the whole getting two tickets from the same cop in the same spot 30 minutes apart, parking in handicapped spots and oversleeping an exam thing...but hey, we all make mistakes, right?

OK, I'm better now.
