The offense isn't Ramsey's fault, the crappy o-line isn't Ramsey's fault, the crappy recievers aren't Ramsey's fault. Ramsey is the only good thing we have on offense. The lack of running game isn't Ramsey's fault etheir. We could never convert in the end zone or third in short. I guess that was Ramsey's fault not the O-line and the running back.

Talking about opinions here you go stupid idea and post. Gibbs likes Ramsey for a reason. Strong arm, heart, good decisions. Most of those interceptions this year were because of a crappy recieving core. The Giants game I would dismiss. That was a fluke. Most of the ints. came from dropped pass that deflected and went into db's hands. Eagles, Steelers, and Vikings okay that was his fault. That is only three maybe one or two more Oh yeah last second hail mary's Our recievers are terrible, all of them, Coles is okay but that is it. He had 90 receptions, that is crap and u know it there all off flanker screens. He was a pro-bowler key word was. Not the same player since his toe injury. He is not what he once was. Look at the Qb's in this league and name one that doesn't have a sick supporting cast. Manning tripelts, Edge and a great o-line. Brady a great o-line, Dillion, and a lot of solid recievers. He didn't have Dillion last year but he still had a great o-line a lot of solid recievers and his first SB Antwan Smith rushed for over a 1000 yds. Rothersburger Great o-line, Staley and Bettis, Ward and Buress. Pennigton- Curtis Martin, very good o-line, Santana Moss and another good reciever to work with. Mcnabb TO, and great o-line, Westbroke,. Vick is the only one. But he doesn't even pass. He just tucks it in and runs. Brees a very good o-line, Antonio Gates and Mcardell, oh yeah the best running back in the league named LT. Ramsey is not the problem its his supporting cast across the board is crappy. Portis can't break a tackle to save his life, our recievers are terrible, our o-line is a joke. Every third and short or redzone Portis stuffed at the line of scrimmage. I guess that is Ramsey fault.

LMAO, I was gonna say....
It's not that bad John. We will be much better on offense next year regardless of any additions. Chin up man!!!

If some of you would read the entire thread instead of going off for no reason at all... you would see that the initial poster had a change of thought so there's really no need to further bash the guy....

Passion about our disagreement is fine but we are Skins fans here. Lets leave the attacks to Philthy and Puke fans. The strong language goes into the Smack forum.John Manfreda wrote:Talking about opinions here you go ...

Here come the excuses: different systems, coordinators etc... Ramsey has never looked like an NFL QB. Anyone who says different hasnt been watching the games. He looks scared in his drop back and makes poor decisions. Three years in and he is still developing.
Yes the Brunell deal set him back but excuses, excuses...
I will definitley be the first one to post my apologies if he has a great 2005 and leads them to the playoffs.
Sorry, its my opinion.
Sounds like the mistakes Mcnabb makes and he's considered one of the best. We are fine with Ramsey, have other pressing needs, this is a waste of a post.

Althought Ramsey has been with us for 3 seasons, he has yet to play an entire season as the starter. Let's first examine how he will progress as the starter under Gibbs system first and then judge him. If Gibbs can make Thesimann, Williams, and Rypien into Super Bowl Champs he can do the same for Ramsey.
Hail to the Redskins,
Hail victory,
Braves on the warpath,
Fight for old D.C.!!

Ramsey's getting better and better. He has a strong arm, he knows the system, his mobility is improving, and he's tough as nails. There's no reason to take a chance on another QB when you can preserve the core unit... especially when the QB you have has such a great upside and a lot of years to give you.
This is like people who want to draft or trade for a superstar TE when we already have a fantastic H-back in
ey catching everything thrown his way. (sending the TE out for a pass too wouldn't be very max-protect oriented would it?) I think we should fix the stuff that obviously needs help (WR, DE, C) before we mess with the stuff that's working and stable (QB, TE, RB).

JDMills hit the nail on the head! Ramsey's got more talent than any of those QB's who wear Super Bowl rings. Ramsey haters get under my skin pretty quickly. Simply put, if Ramsey had been the starter from day One - as he should have been, the Skins would have been in the Playoffs. We played 7 good quarters vs. the Eagles and I'm really looking forward to seeing Ramsey with a complete o-line, Jansen back, and adding a center and WR to the team...it's easy to be bitter after so many years of losing - but I've never felt so good, so soon, about this club. Things are looking GREAT!

No Brees, no way. Yes, he's good, but we have come a long way with Ramsey. I sense (woa, that intution) that this is his year.
- a full year of Joe Gibbs coaching...the best there is, coaching from a guy whos upports any QB who really shows brains and character and promise. Ramsey will stay with the safe passes, avoid the power throws into triple coverage, and learn better to execute Gibbs's multiple receivers office.
- I recently re-watched MY Super Bowl, 22, and Gibbs runs a passing attack that covers every poart of the field.
- better receivers...I don't know who, and I can't predict, but they are coming. Good by, Gardner. Ramey will learn this offense, and use them all. Each year, he will get smarter. OK, he has not been as quick-minded as Tom Brady, but I remember some dumb plays by Joey T. in his first few years. Brady is remarkable. Hats off to him.
- better OL, starting with Jansen's return, and Raymer and Ray Brown moving to the bench. By the way, those guys will be pretty good rerves. Every line has injuries, and Raymer and Brown will fill in well. Rember the years whe Russ Grimm (worn out knees) Mark Addickes came off the bench. Teams used to squeal: we knock out a starter, and the Redskins bing in a former all-pro. The two young rookies will get better, also. One question: who will play center? I think Gibbs and Bugel will figure it out. The OL will make Ramsey better.
- A better OL will will make Portis more effective. That will make Ramsey more damgerous.
- I wish Ramsey was more mobile, but Williams and Rypiens were not nimble guys. Rypien was downright tangle-footed. Gibbs adjusted the offense, and the team won. Ramsey is getting better, and, remember, Gibbs organized an offense around Rypien.
- Finally, why start over?

No, I am not. I just felt that it reads better there in the context of that thread.tcwest10 wrote:Oohhh. Now you're policing me.
You could pick an easier target, bubba.
And yes, you are one tough poster but my main intention is to truly discuss our views on this mess created by Paul Z. and Peter K.
Nobody had called me Bubba before. But if it has any association with Mr. Tyer, it is fine by me.
