Ty Law to Washington?

Post by hatsOFF2gibbs »

Allright....Allright......now that the Mitchell didn't get passed by anyone, what about trading Smoot, Morton, and (or) Cartwright for Ty Law?

Keep Cartwright and trade Smoot with Morton?

Comments?

Really? He's not worth trading Morton or some one like that?

First off I agree with Skinschic. Second, have you watched any T.V. the last few weeks? This guy caught 20-couple passes this year and a whopping 2 touchdowns and he's running his mouth like he's T.O. He's the worst of both worlds, terrible mouth and terrible play. The only reason he got any attention at all was b/c T.O. went down. There aint a snowball's chance in hell of Gibbs bringin him to town, at least I hope there aint. I think you have the right idea :D, just the wrong player.

:o

Freddie has went on record saying he would like to play for JG, but I think his production isn't enough to strike fear in defenses, especially given the crop of WR in this draft.

I suspect JG will waste free adenc getting o-line help, and draft skill positions.

Actually lets trade Patrick Ramsey for Kaseem Osgood while we're at it! A brilliant trade!

Even putting aside off-field problems for a moment, wouldn't we have to respect what he does on the field first to consider him a legitimate prospect?

I agree with Skinschic, 3 times over ;)

Freddie belongs on the Iggles. He would be a disgrace to the history of this franchise.

I said this about him here. I think it fits in this thread too.

And for the record I would rather package LaVar, Taylor, and Portis, for Todd Pinkston than have this guy on my team!

Freddie is the worst player I have ever seen. There is not a professional athelete I hate more than Freddie Mitchell. He had one alright game in the playoffs where he had 5 catches for 65 yards, 1 TD another gift into his hands, and he fumbled on the goaline. He was one of the reasons the Eagles lost the Super Bowl because he had the team all hyped up over the stupid things he said. Even Bill Belicheck said he was terrible and I have never heard him bad mouth anyone. I hope he goes to the Cowboys so I can hate him even more and LaVar can end his career.
LaVar is the best player in the League.

Freddy has just caught on the "Moss Virus" but I believe JGibbs could easily shut him up. I think this would be a great acquisition if we got him without having to give up too much.
Comments?

Freddie was invisiable during the SB, thats really an understatement,we really do not need him , he really is not that good. Ty law will want more money than Smoot, Law wants the top money, he is really good . New England will not try to sign him, he has 3 rings already, now he is going for the money !!!!!!!!!!!

Bobby Mitchell? Yes.

Freddie Mitchell? Never, never, never. I was making a understatement when I said, on another thread, that even Gardner is more useful than Freddie.

the only way the skins should get freddie "the people's champion" mitchell is in a straight-up trade for brunell.....otherwise, he's not worth a single "FredEx" t-shirt

Freddie is an okay #3, we already have guys who can handle the #3 spot...we need a really good #2..someone who would push Coles for the #1 spot.

The one thing about FM -- while he talks a lot and says dumb stuff he's actually not a jerk. He's a nut. He is more of a clown but because we all hate he Eggles, we hate him... He's not hatefull like Moss or T. Owens,

I've heard stories about him, he's funny...

If the Eagles can get a good WR in the first round, FM is a goner in Philly. SF will sign him, he's from the West Coast.

Why on earth would we entertain that offer. With Ike Bruce and Mushin Muhammad possibly on the market we stand a hell of a better chance with those guys than him.

And lets not forget CHARACTER!!!!

Even as a joke, this is a bad one. But I am willing to consider it a nice joke the day you wear his same hairstyle and post a picture for us to see.

Somebody suggested above a trade for Brunell. Let me put it simply to para phrase Welch: I would consider Brunell far too valuable to trade for that player.

Others have put it more properly: :puke: :puke: :puke:

We must be desperate for good threads...
