Monk in a walk. All-time leading receiver in NFL history when he retired and 3 Super Bowl rings. Why is this man still waiting for the Hall to call?

I am old school so Charley Taylor was my first WR favorite so I am sticking with him now. But hey, Art needs to be in the Hall with him that's for sure!

lol, I know I'll get some boos for it, but mine is Gary Clark. Art is obviously a close second and deserves to be in the hall of fame, but for some reason I always loved watching Clark play.

The entire Posse was my favorite... the best group as a whole we ever had.... IMO

Gary Clark was a warrior, feared and respected by other teams....I always knew that if a TD was absolutely necessary, 84 would be on the other end of those Schroeder or Williams spirals, no matter what....

I wouldnt put it like that because i never stopped pulling for the Skins and my love for Joe Gibbs followed him to Nascar(go 18-20-11)but yes I am a Panthers fan and I have season tickets there. I always wanted a hometown team and we got one, it made me sick the first year when no one pulled for this team. But for me not to pull for the team I have loved since I saw John Riggins run for the firt time ,is crazy. Most Panthers fan's I know were and still are Skins fan's but who's to say you can't love'em both :D

It's a tie between Ricky Sanders, Tydus Winans, and Darnerien McCants.

C. Taylor and A. Monk

Post by Redskin in Canada »

C. Taylor was my favourite receiver -before- Art Monk came around. So, as a fan that saw a bit of the first and all from the second, I am biased. The vote is still very difficult for me but I have to go with Art.

Having said so, there is no question that C. Taylor is up there with Art my list. This should be a tie.

And who do you think Art Monk was compared to when he came to the Skins? You got it! Of course, then he went on to be ART MONK a man unto himself.

Bobby Mitchell is in a different category in my book. I do not see B. Mitxchell as a pure WR. In fact, we can say that he was a reluctant but great receiver.

Both are WRs but their style of play is so different that it is almost like judging two different positions. For raw speed, Art could only see the numbers on the back of Charley. For precise routes, it is tough, but I will go with Art. Both have great hands but I have to go with Art. For the ability to escape from tacklers, I will go with Charley. And for the most imposrtant statistic in my book: -character- It is a tie.

Well, Jiminy Cricket ! If you're gonna include RB's on a receivers list, you're bound to have trouble choosing your favorite WR ! :)

Jake, seriously. Is this because you met these guys, or because they were all equally great ? I'm not trying to redo your own criteria for a favorite receiver, but Tydus Winans ?
What's up with him ?
