I would have been satisfied with 0 catches, but this is probally just as good. I bet all those people who said he could be a starter arent feeling to smart. Harrison had more catches than Freddie!!!
This was great, from Peter King on SI.com
Rodney Harrison said to the decidedly unproductive Freddie Mitchell during the game, "You can't even catch balls and you're being covered by a safety. How does that feel?"

I was definately impressed with Greg Lewis. That guy can flat out run!

LOL, I wouldn't want him for free, never mind giving up a draft pick!

man if they came knocking on my door to take him, and they told me theyde give me money... i would still say no

agreed- i think it's pretty clear that despite gardner's problems, he's still a lot better than freddie mitchell, who was also a 1st round pick and proving to be a complete bust.
players like freddie mitchell are the reason we can actually expect to something decent from trading gardner- there are a bunch of teams with some WRs that are SO bad that gardner would be a huge upgrade.
Why would anyone want Freddie Mitchell? He doesnt do anything but run his mouth and not perform.
As for Thrash I thought he had a very solid year for us. His performance on special teams in the Lions game was worth his salary alone. I doubt any special teams player in the league had a bigger game this season than he did on that game, except for a kicker or punter. Thrash is no Terrell Owens but hes not a worthless show-off like "FredEx"

No one said Thrash didn't have a good year.
I intimated that he performed as good since he came back as he did before he left. For the record, I was upset to see him go the first time.

And this guys is as BIG an insult as you will get from Welch.
Moderators, I respectfully submit that this thread be moved on to the SMACK forum. This is too much for a PG audience to see. Welch has gone down to the gutter on this one. PLEASE!!!
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
All I want to know is, how in the world can a guy give himself a knickname. They have to be earned. Good or Bad. Whether its The Minister of Defense. or 50/50.
This mediocre first round bust, had the nerve to give himself the people's champ,Fred Ex, and First Down Freddie. There's a few more too, but I can't think of them right now.
And even if you do decide to do any of his "antics". You can at least be original.
The guy wears the same Championship Belt that Clinton Portis wears.
The only difference is that CP was given the belt by Pastor Troy because he thought he was the best RB in the league.
This idiot bought his own. And has some guy carry it around for him.
CP has had 5327 yards and 39 td's from scrimage in 3 seasons. Mitchell couldn't crack the starting line-up when the Eagles receivers were called horrible.
The next time I see the top 10 draft busts of all time this Fake T.O. mediocre first round bust better be on the list.
While the Patriots were flapping their wings to mock T.O. I was screaming for them to do Freddie Mitchell's celebration.
