Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Turley is a head case, we don't need him, you can lump him in with Randy Moss.

'roid rager, 'roid rager, 'roid rager. :nana:

Let's keep the showboats of the league in their own circuses, mmmkay ?

Don't be upset because it was a bad comment you made. Turley is a good player when healthy and that fire is sorely needed on a line such as ours.

You won't find me upset about anything, brotherman. My feeling is that you have the wrong idea about what kind of guy we need playing next to Jansen. You need a "look-at-me" guy there ? You need a regular penalty machine there ? You need a guy that threatens to knock out his own HC there ?
No, you don't. You can find plenty of fire without the theatrics Turley provides. This is a guy who does nothing but burn bridges when he crosses them. He doesn't always look to see if he's crossed 'em all the way before he opens his mouth, either.
We need workers there. Big, blue-collar workers.
I wonder where Buges stands on this "Turley" thing.
Go find the "dumb" in that, bubba.

maybe you don't watch much football outside of what you see in a skins game because when healthy turley was a beast, and other than being known as the guy with a 1000 tattoos you never heard much from him. also, if he could play guard and that is if, he would be a big upgrade over dockery. you question his personality though you don't know him as a person nor do you know anyone related to him. yeah, i guess i would rather have another jeff goerge incident happen again.

I don't need to know the man personally (or any of his relations) to know that he's not a guy I want. This guy is a saloon door for pancake blocks.
I won't respond to your charges about how much football I watch outside of my favorite team. There's plenty of people here who can answer that question for me.
You picked a guy you like. I put in why I don't like him.
You think that's dumb, because I don't know him and his family. :hmm:
Okay.
Whatever. Turley is a bad fit for the Redskins. Dockery will be fine. At the end of the day, you'll be one of those guys who wants every loudmouth in the league on the team. I had my fill of those when we let Deion walk in here.
Go ahead. Draft your Randy Moss, Kyle Turley, Jeremy Shockey and whoever else gets your attention. I don't care.
I know these guys will never be Redskins, so I can look past your little fantasy ShowBoat team.

I don't believe Dockery is the answer at guard. While he's big, very big, I don't believe he's dominating in there. He doesn't have the fire. I'd like to see us get a guy who is tough, hard nose and maybe Turley is the guy. I didn't hear anything bad about him until the helmet throwing thing, which was actually a sign that he was fired up, that's a good thing. I don't believe any of our lineman are like that. We need that from them -- all of them are low key...maybe too low key. Even Thomas and Samuels are quiet guys. A loud, tough, hard nosed guy would be fantastic...maybe get a center and guard that are like that. Jansen is like that and they missed him this year for that reason.

But...I don't want to give Turley millions, if he'd take a contract that gives him 1 mil and more for making the pro bowl, few sacks, that would be fine...we can't afford to pay him 4-5 mil a year.

emotion... that's exactly what this line needs. if they only played with as much passion as Bugel coaches with they would be a force.
