Defense wins Championships!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

That's one of the most cliched expressions in all of sports. Balance is what wins championships.

The Ravens were atleast efficient, a defense alone isn't going to do it. If it could we would have atleast been in the playoffs.
Still Loyal. Go Skins!

the point is their defense was what was responsible for them winning a championship
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.

Offense wins games, defense wins championships. That means you need both. That is why the Steelers are in the championship game and the Redskins are watching the championship game.

Good special teams doesn't hurt, either.

This is getting very complicated. Somebody get a pad and a pen. We may have to order Chinese to get this figured out.

I hate to say this, but Collinsworth said it best last night on Inside the NFL..."the team with the best defense wins".

Did anyone see this? I enjoyed him poking fun at comparing Marino's career 87 yards rushing to Vick's 118 in last week's game....and Marino fighting back with Collinsworth's -18 career yards rushing :)
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
