Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

I would not want anything new. The bengals got new uni's and they look way to XFLish. I think all of the old ones are cool, expecially the spear. But consistency is a good thing I think, so we should stick with the current.

Does any one know when Florida State started using the spear? Ours is so much better, im just wondering who used it first.

And joe does need to lose that black hat.

Gibbs wore the coolest hats/jackets this year of any skins coach since well Gibbs#1, I remember wondering what he would sport, and sure enough that fist sunday against Tampa Joe came out looking like the terminator. As for jersey's Go to the THROWBACK Gold with the R.

no way, the throwbacks stunk. The pants looked horrible. Nothing beats the indian feather. I must say though, i was always a fan of the white jersey/white pants home uniy's. A MUST is for gibbs to go back to the burgandy R helmet with the mesh in the back. Complete retro.

UNIES

I've ALWAYS loved the arrow helmets with the dark burgundy jerseys and the gold pants. I had hoped a few years ago when we went with the retro look at home that they would become permanent. I don't see that happening now, but I can always dream... sigh...

I loved the white on white, it had to be my favorite time in the Spurrier-Chuck Duck era. As for Coach, he can wear whatever the hell he wishes, just as long as he goes back to the old school aviator glasses. Now that was some intimidation.

Personally speaking, I might like to see a "new" uniform. In fact, I liked them with the all red socks.

DS would love the chance to market a new set of uniforms.

As long as the "new" uniform...

doesn't look like the Fubu-looking stuff that Atlanta and Denver are wearing, I might be game, but I still like the classic look.

my favorites were the 70's era uni's mentioned earlier in this thread w/ the R helmet and either burgundy/white jerseys. i still like the ones we wear now though and would hate to see us go w/a new XFL style uni.

I think they should wear tuxedo t-shirts with their numbers on the back.....or maybe those ones where they look like girls wearing bikinis.

I like them all

I can't not like a Redskin uniform. I think their all tough (White on White/75th Aniv./Regular). However, everyone has seemed to forgotten that in the 50's or 60's, we wore helmets with a feather right down the middle (on the top). I think if we modified/updated the uniform and helmet (maybe change the red in the feather to gold) and went with them on a special occasions, it would look sweet. Here's a link to show you what they look like.

Personally I never want to see the white on white uniforms again, they were hideous.

I love the current home jerseys where we wear white jerseys with burgundy pants, but the burgundy shirts and white pants aren't too attractive... I don't see any way around them though :-\

First of all, welcome to the board!

Second, I like the uniforms we wore to win three superbowls. Not because of their aesthetic value but because of the great memories.

I never saw the helmet with the single feather before. My memories only go as far back as Sonny J. and he wore the yellow helmet with the R and the feather, as posted earlier in this thread (with an autograph!).

Being a fellow Newbie I have to agree with Krills, a modified feather would be cool. I wonder if it would be deemed offensive?

Why would it be offensive?

Can't be more offensive than the team name itself...or the Chief.

I myself think that helmet is cool...comparable to the horns on the Viking and Ram helmets.

It is a proven fact that lots of teams seem to play better when they get new uniforms, but the Redskins need to stay classic like the Packers or the Colts

We are a dying breed
I miss you 21.

God I wish we had a second round pick.
