Did anyone watch the Georgia vs. Wisconsin game? Wasn't too impressed with Erasmus James or David Pollack. Pollack did have a better game, but all I saw was missed tackles out of James. Pollack is very quick but dosn't have the look of your typical DE. Then again look at Lee Suggs.

Pollack would be a nice addition to our team. His feet never stopped moving the guys motor is unreal. James did some nice things to ,when double teamed he would get his long arms up to try an block passes and when close to the QB he would go for the ball. I think I would draft Pollack though. In big games you have to make plays and Pollack made more, that is what we need..

I think the guy people are missing out on is Matt Roth. He's got a great motor, can play every down and has a nose for the ball. He's goning to make some team very, very happy for a lot of years.

My votes for Dan Cody, he has good size & strength with a motor that doesn't quit. Reminds me a lot of Jason Taylor, your leaner faster DE type. However I'm a litte bias, as I'm a Sooners fan. Just my

I dont think that any of the DE's mentioned thus far would really help our team. James, while very talented, has duralbility issues. Pollock is very fast but lacks size. Cody is a great player but Kiper describes him as a Kevin Green type player who can play linebacker and rush the passer. Seems to me that he would fit in better in a 3-4 defense in the NFL. All of these players have seriosu talent but I'm not sure that they fit our needs.

Dany Cody would be a good low first round pick, but with James and Pollack on the board, he won't be too high.

There should only be four positions we are looking at with that 9th pick....1) d end, 2)d tackle, 3) guard, 4) tackle although if antrell rolle is there with that 9th pick we should with a doubt draft him. its obvious he's a player. Honestly, i dont care where we draft in the first round as long as we end up with a quality lineman of any type. if you have watched our team that last few years its obvious that the lines on both sides of the ball need help. You win the line of scrimmage and you win the game. That right side of our o-line got destroyed this year (partly because of jansens injury) but a team has to be prepared for something like that and we were not. Also, even though our defense was incredible this year it had more to do with the d-coordinator's blitz schemes and not neccessarily an overpowering d-line. I think that weakness was hid well by the aggressive blitzing nature of the playing calling. If you hadnt notice teams DID run the ball well against us. (Bengals, Pittsburgh, etc.). LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOU ALL SHOULD BE SOLD ON RAMSEY. he's a good quarterback, just needs time and an owner who has confidence in him

If we renegotiate Samuels' contract then we're not going to draft a gaurd or tackle with the 9th pick. There are no d-tackles worth taking with the 9th pick so the pick is either going to be used for a WR, DE, or Antrel Rolle.

I'd love to see David Pollack in Burgandy & Gold, but not at the #9, maybe we can pull a Detroit and trade for two first round picks.
