patriots= luckiest team in NFL
i'm sorry but i just think it's outrageous-- the only chance NE had to win against the colts is if it snowed (for the 2nd straight year in a row when they met in the playoffs), and of course, it SNOWS!!! what are the odds of that happening, 2 years in a row like that??? it's simply ludicrous. without the snow the score surely would have been something like 32-21 colts, at BEST for NE.
i am so utterly sick to death of this incredibly boring team and their unbelievably over-rated and over-cocky QB.
IT IS NOT GOING TO SNOW IN THE SUPERBOWL IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA! YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO GO TO THE SUPERBOWL JUST BECAUSE THE SNOW MADE YOU WIN!

dcd,
it's New England. They are close to where I live. I am expecting between 12 and 15 inches of snow -tonight-.
It -always- snows in this region at this time of year. Do you still remember the New England - Oakland game?
We call it -WINTER- around here. And it stays around for a full -season-.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

New England played good old fashioned NFC East power-and-grit football, fundamentally Redskins/Giants football right out of the 80's and early '90's. The difference between the Colts and Patriots?
(a) the NE offensive line, which seemed to grind down the Colts. The OL is the engine of a team.
(b) some individual plays under pressure that the Patriots made and the Colts didn't.
The high-statistics team always deserves to lose, outdoors, in the East, in December and January, to the tough, unflashy, team.
Your kidding right?? I believe it snowed on both sides of the ball?? It wasn't snowing back in Sept. NE just has the Colts numbers. If Romeo Cranel doesn't get a head coaching job Tags should be fired!!

I'm a diehard Redskins fan, but I like the Patriots (and the Packers). They are a good team, that has built a "dynasty", even though, IMO, they are VASTLY underrated year after year. They keep falling under the radar, and maybe it bodes better for them that they aren't talked about, but nobody, I don't think, can discredit Tom Brady and his composure in big games. Never before have I seen a young QB handle himself in such a calm and composed manner and make such smart decisions under pressure. I have to credit the Patriots, I don't think they're lucky - they have built quite a respectable (more than respectable) organization that IMO is similar to the Redskins D this year, where the Pats don't have many "big names" (well Corey Dillon, and a few others, but not really), but they quietly get the job done. They're not real boastful or cocky, my brother calls them the "quiet giants". They have a great LB core in Bruschi, McGhinest, etc., and I agree that DEFENSE WINS GAMES, OFFENSE FILLS SEATS.
I know the Redskins had a good D, but they had next to NO offense, you have to have an at least adequate offense, but nobody can tell me that the Ravens didn't win their Super Bowl because of one thing - THEIR DEFENSE!!
