I keep saying this, hoping some of the brethren will agree with me. I'll try again. You don't need another high-priced deep threat until you develop a deep passing game. For the love of Mike, we just picked up a qb coach whose specialty is the dink and dunk West Coast offense. Why, why, why would we spend money on a Burress or a Moss or a Mohammed when we clearly have not shown the ability to utilize the fast deep threats (Taylor, LC) we have now ?

here is two... I totally agree...
musgrave is west coast offense guy... that = dink and dunk... i was really confused when gibbs comes out and says we are going to be more wide open... and the next day we hire musgrave... total oxymoron....
one bright spot... was Jimmy Smith still flourished last year... he has always been a deep threat receiver... and he led the league in catches over 40 yards... i don't know if that is his ability or play calling... but at least it shows it a can be done in an offense under musgrave...

If you guys wanna see deep passing, check out the super bowl doug william won for us. Gibbs has it in his blood to throw deep, i just don't think he fully trusts Ramsey yet. Maybe a year of minicamps and studying film will help him get that confidence in Ramsey.
