He's not the only reason why they tank, but he is a really big part of the reason why the team has no real leader on the field. Thye look to Moss, and Moss looks away.

:hmm: Would this be a upgrade :?:

We have WRs on the roster already, we have one that has had a bad toe for 2 years and it's slowing him down and making him less of a threat. We have a very good number two wideout ..... half the time. Our #3 and #4 are great .........special teams players,
and a #5 that cant find his way on the active roster on Sundays.

or we could add

Randy Moss the most talented WR in the NFL.
Randy Moss the one guy who can teardown everything that Joe Gibbs is trying to build
Randy Moss the guy that doesn't understand taking one for the team
Randy Moss of the Randy Ratio (40% of the offensive plays had Randy involed)

:-k Doesn't seem like a upgrade to me

If he were a Redskin, he would never play anyway. Gibbs, would have to keep suspending him for his foolish behaviour.

Absolutely NOT! Granted guy possesses outstanding skills. This guy has never shown any leadership skills. Must admit would be tempting though :)

It is unbelieveable that this poll is 16-44!

It's a NO BRAINER! YES!

Moss' celebration was fine, there was nothing wrong with it. I've always thought that it's more likely that one player adapt to many players, not many adapting and acting like one. Put Moss in a better locker room with better coaches and leaders and this attitude stuff is a non issue, it's practically a non issue anyway.

I don't remember when we got primetime, i am pretty young, but Moss is still in his prime and he is still the unquestioned best reciever in the NFL

Anyone who was at the game against the Vikes would know that by now

I wouldn't call anyone getting shut down by Garnell Wilds the best receiver in the league.

lol, Gregg Williams swears that Garnell Wilds is awesome.

Anyway, that play on the jump ball that Sean Taylor made against Moss was one of the best plays I have ever seen by a DB, but that's beside the point. Moss is big, tall and strong, he'd be a perfect fit for us, and if we could ever get him it would make us SB favorites.

Gibbs coached a lot of players who had "idiosyncracies", but all of them spilled their guts for the team. A prime Gibbs/Redskin rule: don't ever do anything to fire up the other team. No flaming quotes.

Could Gibbs change Moss? Has any other coach done it?

Randy Moss may have a bad attitude but Gibbs will wipe him into shape. Plus he is the best WR in the Game.

Wow? What a question. Would I want Randy on this team? Yes and No. Yes because he is one of the VERY few players that can alter a game on his own. That man is dag on near unstoppable.

If we could get him and he'd act civil, I'd take him.

I'm sure DS wants Moss just like the rest of the NFL. Fortunately for the Redskins and most Redskins fans, DS just owns the team and he cannot afford to lose his coach at this time.

I really do not think the rumor has any more merit or "steam" than all those very "informed sources" who just knew that Joe was going to get a GM!!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Its still early in the offseason for us. Frankly we dont know what Joe and the Org has in store for us. We as fans can only come to forums and speculate, so Dont put all your eggs in one basket.

If there was any question about Moss coming to Washington, then the last play of the game would have salted it for Joe Gibbs, watching Moss walk off the field while his teammates tried for the onside kick. Gibbs tolerated a lot of different personalities in his first go-round, but one thing that he did not put up with was someone quitting on the team, and I can't see him changing that aspect of his personality. Moss' own actions pretty much would keep JG from seriously considering bringing him in, IMHO.

why is it so hard to believe that gibbs might be thinking about randy moss? i can't believe that people think gibbs would take clinton portis last year (who was known to be cocky, selfish, money hungry), but totally alleviate any possibility that gibbs might want to bring in another playmaker...

how many times has randy moss REALLY been in the news? not that often...he walked off the field, not good. but no one did anything about it. if he thinks he can get away with it (which he can as long as he's a viking) then he's going to keep on doin the same old thing...he mooned the packer fans...BIG DEAL. he mimed it, no harm no foul. there's so many oversensitive people in the world that are appauled by a FAKE moon, or a silly skit with T.O. and some woman in a bath towel that they totally lose sight of what they do ON the field. HE'S GOOD! real good...why would gibbs completely look passed that?

everyone's worried he wants too much to be an individual, he's not a team player...maybe. but we have a lot of players like that on our team. putting ankle tape on your facemask, wearing different color socks, covering your shoes completely with athletic tape, wearing a WWE championship belt when you have a big game...you tell me why that is so necessary?!? other than to stand out...to be an individual. Randy's good and i don't see why it should be totally out of the realm of possibility that we take a look at him in the offseason.

my two cents...
