Haha, saw this on ESPN's Page 2's Snap Judgement. Patrick Hruby's answer to best throw of the week:
Manning's play-action touchdown toss to Dallas Clark, dropped in between three defenders. So much for that upgraded Broncos secondary; if the season was any indication, they should have dealt Clinton Portis for the rest of Washington's defense.
Ouch! This is going to come on more often than not in the media in the weeks and months to come.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
Funny thing is, they could have taken the rest of our defense and Williams would still have had a top-5 unit. Were any commentators talking up Pierce, Clemmons, Clark, or Warner before the season started?
I didn't know that there was an "n" in Joe... but then again, I went to public school. Back on topic, though, I've noticed that Champ got burned an awful lot this past season, I wonder if it's simply a case of his level of play slipping, or a difference in the defensive scheme between Washington and Denver (although with the "defensive scheme" the last two years that Champ was here, it's hard to see that his game would have deteriorated in going to Denver).
R.I.P. Andrew McDonough 9/3/92 - 7/14/07. Love & miss you, #20.

I think you're right. Champ didn't so much get burned in Washington as get told to play that soft prevent defense starting midway through the third quarter. . .but you have to admit that there were plenty of highlight clips of his ankles getting broken in primetime games this year.
Super Bowl Rings matter to most players. I don't see the Broncos any closer than the Redskins. In fact, I think we're moving the right direction. Can't say the same for the Broncos - Champ or, no champ.

ouch that musta hurt, i dont want baily to start makin excuses now
The cover corner is about to be devalued in a big way anyway. It's good we made this trade whne we did. The no-contact rules are really making the position all but obsolete.
Eventually, there will be no defense on the field at all. It'll just be a bunch of guys playing catch; whoever scores last wins.

Pretty mucvh. I find it ironic how the NFL is saying they're trying to preserve the game by making fining everyone and at the same time they're making the game too vanilla.
I predict in 20 years football will no longer be tackle but two hand touch.

... And they will discover it as a flag game...

Listen werejust as close to a ring then the Broncos are. Even though they went to the playoffs it doesn't matter. The trade was great for the Redskins.
Did anybody see Reggie Wayne drop 221 or 90 the week before that, or Kennison 101, Jerry Porter 135,Stallworth 122, Chad Johnson 149, K. Colbert 115,M. Clayton 90,Kennison another 101. Ok now somebody tell me that he gave up those numbers here, secondly what in God's name did he exactly SHUT DOWN this year as the best shut down corner and number three is just simply stated, I WOULD HAVE MADE THAT TRADE 50 TIMES OVER.
Hmmmmmm............Leading rusher last year for us was......
Trung "I really don't know what i had in St.Louis" Candidate
at 600 and something yards.
This year...........................
Clinton and 1350 something. Yeah, Denver can have Champ and Fred if he'd like to go join his buddy out there. Maybe they can combine to stop Peyton for 2 quarters next year.
Fred and Champ need to stop watching Jerry McGuire! It aint all about show me the money!
