I highly doubt that Randy Moss will end up in Washington. I don't see Joe Gibbs and company putting up with the stunts that he pulls, whether it be walking off the field, pretending to moon fans, or throwing water in the face of a referee. I would much rather have Muhsin Muhammad. He is an excellent receiver, who fits Gibbs' idea of what a "true Redskin" should be regarding his attitude and work ethic.
Welcome to the best site for NFL news and especially our Skins. Enjoy the ride!
We will be more effective on offense next year and I really do not think we will be adding any problem children to this group. This team is going to "grow" under JG's guidance.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I think you missed my my point entirely.
He is motivated to get better by all means nessecesary, that to me is good work ethic, no matter what the surroundings
I suppose we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I think Randy does try to improve himself in ways that will benefit him, not the team. I guess I would agree, with my limited knowledge of what he exactly does, that his work ethic is improving. I believe that he still takes many plays off, doesn't go 100%, and is a cancer in the locker room and on the field. It's really just a guess on my part though since I'm not there to see what the real truth is. The possibility of those things being true though, make me not want him on my team. But then again, I don't get paid to make those decisions, so what do I know lol.

Moss! Don't play with my emotions! That would be the best move if it was pulled off, LOOK THE REALITY HERE is we are going to have to start this turnaround by first winning this thing called the nfc-east,the leaders of which are up in filthydelphia and packing an ooozy that sports number 81, our redskins have no such firepower. As far as his attitude...thats why we pay our coaches more than nebody in the league to get guys ready to play. Randy is the only guy I can think of that is better than T.O. and NOT ONLY THAT HE PLAYS GREAT AGAINST DALLAS!
HAIL
I can't believe for one second that any of you would want RM here?? He is a cancer, great talent but at what cost. He hasn't taken his team to the next level. You already saw what he did at FedEx, the only thing worst than that would be him doing it in burgudy and Gold!!

He'd be a hired gun. We can do better than buying somebody else's headache.
After watching his pre and post interviews yesterday, I couldn't agree more with you.

Thats fine, but do you agree with the fact that no matter how selfish he is, when he does things in the offseason to help improve his touchdown percentages, that ultimately benefits the team, the fans, the merchandise sells and local TV contracts etc.......?

We all speculate from time to time. Thats what we do.

Easy DEHog! You're right to be concerned but I don't think that anybody who really knows and appreciates our team is going to want players like this. More important, the guys who now make the decisions, will not have a person like that on our team.
Nice fantasy, not going to happen!

Cancer? Thats what they said about Corey Dillon. Now look at him.
Sometimes a change of scenery is all that a player needs to step up. Cris Carter is another example....as is Terrell Owens.
Now, if Moss was wearing a burgundy and gold uniform and standing in the Cowboys endzone for this picture...would you, as a Skins fan, chuckle and high five your buddy?

Imagine how many TD's this guy could score against the Eagles and Cowboys. Everyone said T.O. was a cancer....look what he did for McNabb and the entire Eagles team. Moss will make any team better. You just have to put up with his "bumps/hiccups"

I guess I'll add my 2 cents.
Adding Randy Moss to this offense would definitely open it up. It would also likely result in Clinton Portis having a 2,000+ yard season.
That being said, I think the *ONLY* way the Skins will sign Randy Moss would be....during trade discussions....Gibbs has a private meeting with Randy behind closed doors and tells him exactly what will be expected of him...and what will happen to him if he doesn't meet those expectations. If Randy/Gibbs can agree on those terms, then I can see Gibbs "rubber stamping" the trade for Moss. Otherwise, it just won't happen.

The NFL is a professional sport for grown men, not adult children in pampers like Randy Moss. His work ethic SUCKS and he is the antithesis of every thing that Joe Gibbs has described as a "true Redskin." If his number is not called in a play, he doesn't even try, he has openly admitted that he doesn't work as hard if they play isn't for him. Not only is he selfish, he is a big baby.
How would it help the Skins to have somebody on their team who, if the play's not going to him, you can't be sure whether he'll block for you or just let the opposition flatten you?
Give me Torry Holt (though the cell phone thing was stupid, he has a rep for respecting the league), Muhsin Muhammad, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Chad Johnson, Eddie Kennison.
Randy Moss, Randy Moss, Randy Moss, no matter how good you are, there are always people who are better, and this year there were three receivers who lit up more than Randy did (and thats NOT counting when he was out). The Vikings have Randy Moss and still haven't won a Super Bowl in a who knows how long, they haven't reached the NFC championship in years, and they were darn lucky to make it to the playoffs (and that is with the second-rated QB in the league).
Randy Moss is not the answer to the Redskins problems, he will only add to them.
For whoever said that as Skins fans, we would laugh if Moss was on our team and he did the "fake moon" in the endzone, well that might be, but would you want a player who walks off the field on the Skins too?
Randy Moss' simulation of mooning the crowd was actually funny because that perfectly describes what kind of player he is, "half-a**ed"

Tory Holt plays for the Rams. Joe Horn (Saints) is the cell phone guy.
Chad Johnson? He is more annoying than Randy Moss IMO. (Pepto Bismol, asking fans to pay for his fines, hiding signs in the stadium, throwing tantrums on the sidelines, gold plated teeth).
Must be since he is Keyshawns cousin.
Look, some athletes are annoying...but you cannot say that Dennis Rodman made his teams worse. You cant say Corey Dillon made the Pats worse, or TO made the Eagle worse.
If Randy Moss was available in a trade you'd be stupid not to take him. You just have to make him realize that the trade is a great opportunity for him to start over just like other atheletes have in the past.
Eddie Kennison over Randy Moss???? hahahahahaaa!!!
