The fact that the players on our defense are getting overlooked may also be a positive because it is a testament that our defense is comprised of a group of guys who are smart and hard working, not just a few super stars like the Ravens defense.

If before the season started someone told you that Lavar would only play in 2 games, Barrow would not play at all, Daniels would only play a few games and Bowen would miss most of the season, how well would you have thought the Skins D would have been? Honestly

We are the most underrated defense in the league. And like MtSherwood7 said, we do not have a few key guys. Our entire def is good and works together.

How are we underrated? We were #3, according to the NFL, right? Other teams were measured by the same standards. 2 teams did better than us. Period.

not underrated in the sense of ranking, but the amount of press we get on a national level. You heard more about the Ravens defense in LA then you do about the Redskins defense. I know this because I have couisons over there and they hardly hear about the Skins defense

Thank god for Gregg Williams, or this could have been a 49ers type season.

I think that has more to do with the fact that they're on the West Coast. Why woudl they cover the Skins when they have the Niners, Raiders, Chargers, and other good AFC teams nearby? I see where you're coming from though.

I do believe that Jon Vilma was the rookie of the year, he played like a vet the whole year.

Players can be under-rated without the team being under-ranked.

Well, the ravens were still legitimately in the playoff hunt until the end, played the colts on national TV (well, I might add), and....the clincher...Ray Lewis is on the cover of Madden 2005.

Oh well, if all goes according to plan, your friends will be hearing a lot about the Skins next year. Defense, offense, ST, the whole shabang.

The Ravens Defense still is talked about like it is this amazing dominant defense. We all know that isn't the case anymore.

It's a little too late to try and dig yourself out of that moronic comment. Just leave well enough alone and buy an atlas. ;)
