Vince Young

Post by Texas Hog »

Not that he's coming out....but could you believe the game that kid had? He's an unbelievable talent...and I'd like to see him in B&G in the near future.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

He is a good player, but he reminds me of Banks out of Iowa a few years ago. And I think we're set at QB. I think.

He is another Kordell stawart, can't throw and can run. I hope he is not in a Redskin uniform. Look at the track record of the mobile Qb. Culpepper chocked against the Giants, Mcbad has choked 3 times in row and counting, Shaun King has choked against the Rams, Mcnair never won a superbowl ehtier. Look at the past superbowls Brady vs Delhome, Brad Johnson vs Gannon, Brady vs Warner, Dilfer vs Collins, Mobile Qb's don't get it done in the playoffs.
Vince YOund is ethier Aron Brooks or Kordell Stawart. He doesn't have the accuracy to be Mcnabb or Vick.

I take Ramsey over him in a heart beat.

Vince... Young... Longhorns... I. Hate. Him.

 Better memory... Him being hurt verse Arkansas then having to play as a pocket passer for a good part of the late game.

Young is only going to get better. Expect him in the Heisman hunt next year.

I've never seen a player take the game on his shoulders like Young did. He did it against a very good team too. I didn't expect Texas to play as well as they did - but without Young - they would have lost by three TD's or more. He was stellar! Leinart should come out for the Draft - no question. But Young reminds me of the most exciting player in football - Mike Vick. I hope he works on his passing mechanics to take advantage of his great height... but he's almost a lock for the Heisman if he puts on another show or two next season. Sorry to ramble...

Vince Young is not an NFL QB. He can barely throw the ball. He could be a good NFL WR tho with his size, speed, and moves. Not sure if he has the hands for it tho. He's a more athletic version of Kordell Stewart with (gulp) less passing skills.

He's a great college player tho, but so was Tommie Frazier.

He'll be in the Heisman hunt, but alas, unless they beat Oklahoma, he will not win.

Young is good and is gonna be great next year for texas, but wasn't woodrow danztler a lot like young but he was also a better passer. But look where he is now. infact I really don't know where he is. I'm not saying young isn't talented and could be a very good player in the nfl if he improves his passing skills, but the fact is that he rarely ever throws and when he does his throwing motion is just plain weird.

You may remember Dantzler from this preseason when JOHN HALL knocked him out of the game as Atlanta's kick returner. Injured by a kicker...bahhh. Hall is a big kicker though, and ejoys tackling.
