go downfield next week??? Next week's game is absolutely meaningless and we are facing a weak Vikings' D and secondary. I would like to see us, just once, stretch the field. I don't care if it means we're in a max protect (btw, whatever happened to the shotgun?) and we're only sending one WR down the field...just PLEASE could they give the QB some time and let him throw a jump ball. Not those 20-25 yard routes where Patrick throws a fastball into double coverage. I mean, drop back, let Gardner run 40-50 yards and just let it fly and see what happens.

I really don't care if Patrick throws 4 or 5 picks next week if it means we're taking that first step towards making an opposing defense honest. We need to dramatically improve our passing game and get vertical, and we've got to start somewhere.

Additionally, as I sit at work this morning, I'm still in disbelief that we lost that game. Any other team and it wouldn't hurt half as much, but because it's the cowboys, a team that has been downright dreadful, abysmal, hideous, pathetic, and so bad they make you want to puke (I've watched them all year since I live in Texas), it's just twisting the blade.

It looked to me like Ramsey had his chances to throw long...those were the sacks, when we counted off "one...two...three...THROW IT...four...ARGHHH!"
