Joe had his turn now it's Bill's

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Stoops to Dallas - confirm this??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can someone confirm this???
I just pulled this from sportsrumormill.com:

"Just saw on epsn post game reports that yesterday it was heard that Jerry had made a call to OUs Bob Stoops, possibly to talk about the Dallas COwboys in 2005! The Oklahoma reporter has also confirmed this to be true. There are strong rumblings within Dallas that say, BP will resign at the end of the season."

This is from the ESPN boards, so take it with a grain of salt . . .

ESPN reported that Bill Parcells has an ESCAPE CLAUSE that would let him RESIGN after 2 seasons of his 4 year contract.

ESPN has reported that Parcells DISTANCED himself from the team this week AFTER New Orleans debachle.

The NINTH defeat today could mean Cowboys MAY promote Sean Payton IF Parcells resigns after FINAL game in 2 weeks.

ESPN reported that Parcells REQUESTED that EITHER Payton or Maurice Carthon get PROMOTED if he EXERCIZES his 2 year escape clause.

Jerry Jones could accept Parcells resignation WITHOUT promoting Payton or Carthon IF he wants to,he OWNS the Cowboys.

First Joe Gibbs was walking away after one year now it's Parcell's turn to deal with the rumors

Not happening. More ESPN BS.

Parcells won't walk away from the mess until he makes an effort to fix it.

As we said regarding Gibbs: ESPN knows nothing. They are an entertainment outlook.

Unless there's some health issue involved, I doubt BP would walk away after a losing season. ESPN is becoming the tabloids of sports news. What's happening with them?
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

That would stink for Parcell to leave. Who would fill the manboob voids in his shirt???

Seriously, though, he's a winner, and a future HOFer. No way he walks without reaching his goals with the team.
Back and better than ever!
