This week's cartoon...
This week's cartoon is posted.
We decided that we wanted to get a Christmas cartoon out of the way since the game on the 26th was Dallas and we didn't want to waste an opportunity to poke fun at the pukes in some way.
So this week's is the Christmas cartoon, and with it, I'd like to wish you all a very safe and happy holiday season.
Enjoy, and Merry Christmas... it's a little early, but why not start getting into the spirit?

No I don't have the specific name for the program... I just click this button on my monitor that says 'make cartoon' and it does it all for me.... draws the graphics... edits the audio, guesses what we're thinking for a storyline...
Gotta love technology.
Really wanna learn? Here's the Software I actually use for the cartoons:
Macromedia Flash MX
Plus,
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Edit Pro
And I guess instead of being a smart ass, i could just lay out the process for you... NC43Hog usually comes up with the bulk of the storylines. He sends me an e-mail at the beginning of the week with his ideas for the cartoon... i take a look at them and send back my own ideas. Then he usually sends me an 'outline' of the cartoon, that is, a text description of various different frames that we're going to have in the cartoon. NC is a graphic designer, so he also usually does up some graphics based on the story (in Adobe Illustrator) and e-mails them to me.
I put it together in Flash and we go back and forth through the week as the cartoon progresses... adding, modifying etc. until we have a finished product on Friday.
I didn't actually think we'd ever be able to get one a week done because I assure you, it's a fair amount of time and effort... truthfully... I feel like I've been working on ONE cartoon for the last 3 months.
But other than the week that the site went down, we've been able to finish one every week... and we've never cheated and used an old idea... every one has been original.
It's been a blast doing them, and I've learned a lot about 'animation' since we started. We think they'll get better and better as we learn what we're doing a little more, and hopefully take me a little less time each week.
But I have a feeling that next week's... the Cowboys game... will be UNDOUBTEDLY the best one yet.
Gotta love technology.
