There is areas of "Lake P" where the bottom of the lake drops off a couple hundred feet. When this happens, it can create small whirlpools. The worst area in New Orleans is on the Mississippi River, near the GNO Bridge " Greater New Orleans Bridge". If seen small trees going down the River get suck ...

I'm in the Coast Guard and I was station at Air Station New Orleans from 1990 to 1995. I've seen this happen, time and time again. It's a shame to see someone in the prime of their life, get cut short. My heart goes out to his family. God Bless..

DT Sam Rayburn

The subject of trade rumors the past several offseasons, defensive tackle Sam Rayburn is suddenly available on the open market after the Philadelphia Eagles released the four-year veteran Friday, making him able to sign with another team

Rayburn became the odd-man out on a crowded tackle depth ...

I like Smoot winning the the number two position as CB. He can cover and has great hands. This guy is always in position to pick off a ball and return it for a TD. Something we didn't have last year. Competition in training camp should be fun at CB.

Every year at the draft we go through this, since Gibbs has retuned to the Skins. But, it always seems that the players we pick, end up being productive and fit our team needs. Pre-Gibbs days we would always pick some big name player that never panned out, such as:Westbrook, Shueler, and Gardner. I ...

My son and I were 20 seats up on the lower level and it was loud. I thought the fans were really into the game. Matter of fact I can hardly talk today. Hats off to everyone who was there. I hope I can get to another game this year. This year really feels different then in the past.

I'm sorry but everytime they make him sit, He wants to leave. I like Ramsey but he just hasn't proved himself and Brunell didn't complain, he went out there and fought his way back. I'm sorry but the best man gets the job no matter what position. These guys aren't PoP-Warner....

After 18 years, I'm still proud to be a Coastie.

In the past week the men and women of the United States Coast Guard have completed over 7,000 air rescues. An average year at Airstation New Orleans is about 450 search and rescue cases. You would have know idea how proud my fellow shipmates make me feel. They are working around the clock 24-7 and I ...

Hey Skinz 74,I know how you feel. I was stationed at Coast Guard Airstation New Orleans from 1990 to 1995. When Hurricane Andrew hit we were flying around the clock. The last two years I've been recruiting and to be honest I feel like I should be down there with my "Buds",saving people.

Its really simple. The best man gets the job, just like any other position on the team. I think PRam understands this, and he needs to settle down and just play. Brunell is playing alot better this year, because he is healthy now. Last year he had an hamstring injury that nobody knew about. The ...
