Even if the Redskins don't win another game for the next 40 years, I will still be a Redskin fan.
If they're your team, then they are YOUR team. Doesn't matter what the record is. It will just make us enjoy it even more when the do turn it around. And they will.

Looks like the Poston's might be losing another client. I wouldn't expect them to be around much if Winslow doesn't get his money. Weren't they just fired by Orlando Pace?
I wouldn't expect Lavar to keep them around once he loses his hearing on his contract.

It's only two games. We'll be respectable. I don't think we'll win the division (Philly looks too strong), but anything can happen.
This is a learning process for the team. I would be happy with an 8-8 record this year. I would be estatic with a 9-7. Realistically, we're not going to be in the hunt ...

I'd be more optimistic if we were more consistent on offense. We didn't do a whole lot the 2nd and 3rd quarters. I expect that Coach Gibbs will work on that this week. In addition, if our kickoff coverage doesn't improve sooner or later it's going to bite us in the rear.
For the Giants game, I'm ...

Of course not. I would not presume to know more than they do. Can I not express my opinion?

I'm estatic that the Skins won and even happier that Dallas lost. But unfortunately, I think I have to agree with you on Portis. While I have no problem with Gibbs running a back around 30 times a game, I don't think Portis will be able to take the pounding. Portis isn't Riggins. He's a totally ...

I'm estatic about the return of Joe Gibbs. I think he will bring us back to one of the NFL elite teams. That being said, it won't be this year. I would be happy with an 8-8 record. I wouldn't presume to speak for the man, but I would imagine that Gibbs himself doesn't think he's anywhere near or ...

Maybe it's because I'm new, but I've never heard anything bad about him. Why all the animosity?

Can Ramsey possibly audible anymore? It's one thing to do it in Spurrier's offense, but with Gibbs?
Neither Ramsey or Brunnel looked good last night, but I was especially disappointed with Ramsey. I understand that it was just the first preseason game so I didn't have high expectations. However, it ...

While I pray that I'm wrong, I don't think the Skins are any threats for the Super Bowl this year. I would be happy with a 9-7 record. I think that's well within our reach. Believe me, nothing would make me happier than to be wrong on this, but I think it will take time.
This year will be when ...

That would probably be on the same level as the Dodgers leaving Brooklyn and moving to LA. This would be bigger than the Browns leaving Cleveland. The Brookly Dodger fans never forgave them. Sure, LA has fans, but I know many people who never forgave them.

From the list, I'd have to say Dallas. And overall, it would still be Dallas. There's not much worse for a kid growing up in the 70's and your team is the Redskins and the skinny punk across the street was a Cowboy fan. We did well, but not good enough. Of course, he was always there to remind me ...

Please don't get me wrong when I say this because I am thrilled that we have Portis....but....I still wish we had a bigger back for 3rd and short situations.

Cartwright!

CARTWRIGHT!!!

I have seen Portis get the tough yards...he gets real low to the ground and hits the hole.

But ...

I'm sure it happened many times, but off the top of my head, I can't recall Riggins being stopped when it was 3rd and one. With Gibbs's ...

Umm...John Riggins.
I admit that I would have to put Sonny Jurgenson as number two. Unfortunately I never got to see him play. I've heard so many stories that he must have been something.

The Skins in the Super Bowl sounds just excellent! However, while I would like nothing more, I just don't see it. I'm expecting at the very least 8-8 this year. I wouldn't be suprised at a 9-7 or 10-6. Personally, I think that they're 3 years away from the big game. I think that all the tools are in ...

I could spend alot of money on items there. The only problem is that I would have to listen to my wife comlaining for the next 6 months.

However, after a little more thought, it will be worth the pain I must endure.
