you, my friend, have entirely too much time to spare

I was thinking the same thing. Boy, that's a hell of a lot of posts for such a short period of time. I've been here since o4, and that's six times my amount of entries, But then I have other things to do ...

Mason has ability, and I'm happy he became one of the 53. While there's much more to being a RB than just running the ball, once he becomes effective at picking up blitzes, and all the nuaunces of the RB position, he'll prove to be a good prospect.

I'm not convinced he would remain on the PS for ...

I think we had high hopes for Mike Espy as the 5th WR but the injury has set him back, and the team scrambling to fill the void.

A little premature to think about Taylor at this point. However, I do think the Redskins will do the right thing by him at the appropiate time. Unless he proposes a strong desire to renegotiate prior to the expiration of his rookie contract, that would be the only concern. He has maintained he has ...

I never doubted for a minute he'd be ready for the opener. Chris has been a mainstay on the O-line since his arival, and despite his absence during preason games, I think he'll do a fine job on Sunday against a formidable foe. I know Jason is glad he'll be there to protect his blind side.

Re: No more than 12 new guys

I'm loving the approach the Skins are taking this year...finally. Good teams do NOT change out 18 guys each year. Also, many of our changes will not be to the final 48-51 guys either. It will be from 51-56. Our 5th, 6th & 7th round picks make the PS.

I see us returning all of our starters on ...

You're right, we are allowed to make stuff up that's why this board is always crowded with crud. Oh! by the way, trades and compensation involving trades is major.

Ok, tell me what you think... Lance briggs for our 5th, 7th, and Adam archuleta.

I know we have to figure out his contract his situation, but say we did. Would this be acceptable considering the massive weight we are only recently now placing on the importance of draft picks???

I say do it ...

You have to wait until draft day. Making a deal earlier than that is just plain silly. The price always goes up when the pick is on the clock and desperate teams have to act. It's leverage.

If we like Anderson, Gaines, Okoye and Branch (big on Okoye!) then trading down with either Houston#8 or ...

Well, in an attempt to keep this discussioin going in a football direction, I'd like to ask, are you suggesting the Skins might draft Quinn? I am still a bit nervous. Dockery was our least best lineman I guess... but games are won up front... and we're also thin on defensive line.

Both of them will probably play a lot. Marshall may just get the nod because of his experience, but whichever one wins the job will be an upgrade over Holdman.

I think they'll try to get Archuleta to re-work his contract and bring him back. They're not going to bring him back with his current structure, and I do think they would be open to bringing him back, so it may all be up to Archuleta whether he want's to return to the team or not.

Brandon Lloyd's Status for 2007

Brandon Lloyd was inactive for Saturday's game . The report was he was ill. Was he ill, or is he still in JG's doghouse as a result of his helmet throwing incident? He has not started a game since the incident, and will he be back next season, or will the team cut ties with him? It would be a cap ...

I stated back during the spring when everyone thought he would be a June 1st cut we should have released him. He takes up a spot on the roster where we could be developing a younger player. He does not play special teams, and he's only caught two balls this season. I can see nothing he does to ...

i think the D can be fixed in the offseason, but not during this year. it should get a bit better if springs and rogers can ever be on the dang field healthy at the same time.

Springs is already 31, meaning he's likely to slow down, not speed up. Plus, he hasn't played a full 16 game season since ...

I don't know if simply having a GM would fix all of our problems, I mean, the Texans have a GM and they drafted Mario Williams over Reggie Bush!
