Crazy: How old are you? I thought I was old, but if you were a fan of Justice, who retired in '52, you must be in your 60's to remember that. If that is so, then you certainly lived thru the first Gibbs tenure. But you certainly don't talk like most people who have experienced that run. Most who ...

You also have to remember that whatever happens... 2008 will be a capped year... the owners would never agree to any CBA that did not include a cap... and any abuse the year before would just result in having to then comply with the cap the following year and possible create huge problems for ...

I think those two fullback picks were brilliant! They have the potential to solve two problems areas from last year: short yardage offense and special teams.

You don't give up two #1s to trade up for a KR.

Even if that KR goes on to become a SB MVP?

Let's put it this way. Suppose the Skins won the SB in 1997 (instead of the Packers) and Howard was the SB MVP for the Skins. Also, supposed that Howard contributed absolutely nothing before or after ...

In my memory, Ray McDonald was as bad (if not worse) a first round selection as Heath Schuler, Desmond Howard or Andre Johnson were. Look it up!

Do others here think that Desmond Howard was a bust?

As a WR, he didn't do much ... but as a KR, he won the Super Bowl MVP with the Packers. Can ...

Redskins first round draft choice in 1967, 13th overall. Career stats: 52 rushes, 223 yards.

This adds an interesting spin on things.
Lying officially has stripped Lavar of his core redskiness...

In my mind, I have never seen Lavar as a "core" Redskin. I still think that definition is not well understood by most on this board.

Does Lavar have talent? Yes. Is he one of ...

Breaking apart? Not at all. What's happening right now is exactly what Joe told you would happen. He's weeding out the people who don't want to be Redskins. He's creating the core. He's teaching these guys how to be real football players and how to win.

Nobody is too good to lose. If they think ...

That would make sense. I remember that Sam hated being dumped by the Giants. He said someplace (an autobiography?) that, when he came to the Redskins, the defense was so poorly coached that they were told where to line up, and nothing more. No defensive plays, no schemes...just stand and get hit ...

Insanity will rule in 07.

On the contrary, I think it will get better. There will be a lockout/walkout/strike, whatever you want to call it, before insanity will prevail in salaries (assuming it is not already at the insanity point, but that is another discussion).

No cap in 2007? How ...

As of today we are $9.6 million below the cap! There are only seven teams with more cap space! I guess Lenny is right, Dan Snyder has no idea what he's doing!

Unfortunately, it is not only about where you are vis-a-vis the salary cap, it also is about what you have spent it on that counts ...
