JT got blamed a lot on stopping the run but let's also consider that our outside linebackers are not playing at a high level. The truth of the matter is that JT should not have even played. Also we are getting zero pressure from our DT's. If there is someone to question what about the dropoff in ...

I hear that Shawn suffered an injury to his shin today in practice. He's got to be able to stay on the field. Seems like he's always got some injury.

I'm finding it hard to believe that so many cannot see that Heyer has played better than Jansen. Please re-watch all of the tape. Jansen get's beaten by every player he lined up against. I could see if he was getting beaten by Pro Bowlers. He was getting beaten by the average Joe. I love JJ but his ...

I guess I didn't need to see that. But it does not change my opinion that Jansen is no longer playing at a starter level. He may still be affective in the run game but is a major liabilty on passing downs. This game tape is going to cause a severe diet of pressure coupled with the fact that Jason ...

I thought Malcom Kelly was impressive in the practice I saw. Hopefully he'll get back soon. Two weeks from what I hear. He and Devin are big third down targets that Jason will love and Fred Davis looked good as well.

I think it's very strange that a room-mate would allow you to oversleep. Someone in the organization dropped the ball as well not to keep an eye on at least the top 3 picks to make sure these guys are accounted for.

Joe,

Thanks, that was my observation as well.

He has not shown much at all, no speed rush, no bull rush and he get's blown off the ball on the run. Renaldo is more effective.

Andre Carter. Is he holding back?

I know this is preseason play but thus far I am not impressed with the play of Andre Carter at the DE position.

He is getting blown off the ball on runs and cannot untangle himself from the LT on the pass. He is showing none of the moves I've seen from him in previous years. What's up with this ...

It is truly amazing that our defense finished 3rd last year in spite of how often our offense put them on the field.

If this offense can establish a passing attack this season it will open up our running game. Every defense will force our offense to pass until it proves it can consistently.

Coach Gibbs went to school last season and it showed in his play calling but he played with the hand he was dealt. That hand has changed this off season. The O-line is much improved and we now have receivers that can get separation. He is also employing some new schemes to accomodate CP.

This may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. I bet there will be no receiver on the team who will work harder on concentrating when catching balls the rest of the season. Unfortunately this pre-season has really exposed P. Ramsey's weaknesses. He does not see the field very well and does appear to process visual info quickly enough to be effective. Also it doesn't help that he still seems to suffer from the Post-Spurrier syndrome.

Keep in mind that I do not ...

If Holdman has been given the position already that is an indication of a poor showing by the other candidates. This is hard to believe after 1-2 practices without pads.
