You obviously didn't comprehend the tone of my statement.

I like tradition, ESPECAILLY WHEN IT LOOKS GREAT.

I'm also not one of those blowhard old-school guys that will say NEVER change something. I get the fact that things evolve...but in my opinion, there's no need to change the Redskins ...

Redskin Rule

Well, I'm sure you all have heard and read about the "Redskin Rule". It came into play again for this eleciton and once again it holds true.

Kind of a stupid coincidence but still very interesting.

For the past 71 years, the outcome of the Redskins LAST HOME GAME prior to the election dictates ...

I was not referring to the fact that the UNIFORM chosen has any impact on the outcome of the game.

I am speaking about the basic tenent of tradition. Since 1980, the Redskins have overwhelmingly worn white shirts and burgundy pants at HOME. This is the combination that was worn during the glory ...

Not a big fan of burgundy on burgundy. At all. I think it looked crappy!!!

Why don't we stick to the classic white jersey with burgundy pants?? That was the standard for years and years.

That was the combination worn in every Super Bowl win.

When I think of John Riggins running over Don ...

REALITY CHECK

I think it's time to truly put the Redskins season in perspective.

Clearly, the two road wins "IN DALLAS...IN PHILLY!" elevated expectations. As well they should have. Not only for winning, but more precisely, HOW those games were won. The Redskins demonstrated a brand of football in those two ...

Is Steve Cox available? I loved the single bar helmet and straight-line punting approach. That guy had a leg...remember Gibbs would trot him out for 60-plus field goal attmepts? Sure...he might be in his 50's now but he wouldn't be any worse than Du-shank Brooks.

The Redskins have NEVER worn all burgundy in a game. I like the burgundy shirt with white pants...however, the white shirt/burgundy pants combo, to me, is the way to go. Think about it. Not only does it look great, but the vast majority of Redskins glory has happened with that combination. Riggo 4th ...

I couldn't agree more more. Pete stepped up to the plate and took it like a man. Was it a stupid play? Yes. However, in the heat of battle, he was trying to make something happen. There was plenty of blame to go around and yes that was a big play, but this whole loss was a team effort.

Uniform Question

Do you guys know if the Redskins will use ALL-WHITE uniforms at home for the rest of the year? I prefer the more traditional, classic burgundy pants with white tops. Not a big fan of the all whites. Interesting side note: remember 2001? Marty's team that year wore the burgundy tops at home for ...

Hey guys...here's a link to an interview done today with ex-Boise State coach Skip Hall. The guy that gave Zorn his first coaching job back in 1989. Reflections about the man...including some retro photos of Coach Zorn. Enjoy!

Let's cut Dan Snyder a little slack. In the past he's had a one-track mind when it comes to the head coaching search and usually zeroed in on the big name without even considering anybody else. We all know how that turned outl.

This time around he was deliberate and expanded the search to try and ...

Why is this so hard for Snyder?

Here's the deal...if you look at fAssel and Mooch there are no real arguments to be made in favor of Fassel. Sure he led the Giants to the Super Bowl but other than that...these guys are similar.

So why not go with the personable guy that we know will get a long ...

Yea, I'm thinking he did a super job against the Pats in the bowl but he didn't really have a hand in the offense; so to say he can prepare a whole team is yet to be seen.

As the DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR, he did a ...

Mariucci: "I WILL KEEP MY OPTIONS OPEN."

The more this plays out, the more I feel like Steve Mariucci is the guy. He was on NFL network earlier today from the SB Media Day and was asked point-blank about the Redskins. He responded very politically correct and in a way that DID NOT in any way, shape or form extinguish the rumors. In fact ...
