in his first 2 seasons, Portis has 71 catches for a 9.5 yard avg. .. that's about 35 a year which is more than most team's 3rd WR's.. he will catch the ball out of the backfield and make some plays. he joked about how LT got 100 catches last year so he's going to get 101 and told Coles to not expect ...

plus we're opening camp on 7/30 which gives us 8 days b4 the game while the Broncos open camp on the 27th so they'll have 3 more days to prepare. and w/ 5 preseason games and less emphasis put on actually winning those games, the first "scrimmage" game really means nothing more than to observe the ...

it's a GOOD thing that the draft is only 7 rounds now.. more players for Gibbs to grab b4 anyone else can.. and u know most of those FA rookies are gonna favor coming to Gibbs w/ his track record of FA's who've gone on to become stars and winners.

Swayne will be the 4th or 5th receiver at best.. he's a primary special teams guy and occasionally will get the ball. He and Salave'a are good backup, special teams signings. McCants will challenge for #2.. if someone doesn't sign him to a fat deal first.

"They've gone through a lot of changes," Gibbs said of his players. "I was talking to one of them, and he said, 'I'm kind of sick and tired of changing coaches all the time.' I had to laugh.

"I said, 'I am too Let's don't do that anymore.'"

Great quote from coach.. any idea if he was talking w ...

Clinton Portis is just young and brashful but DON'T say he's not humble. He's confident, not cocky.. yes those shades were pretentious but look.. Champ immediately bashed us saying he's a first class player that needs to be w/ a first class organization while Portis had nothing but good things to ...

This will all work out just great for both teams! Denver's system generates great running backs while our system have generated great corner backs (Darrell Green has been our backbone for the last 20+ years and then Bailey after him). So this is a natural fit and trade. Plus look at the money! the ...

Dan the Man is finally learning from the best.. only Gibbs could push him out of the spotlight. But Daniel Snyder was certainly at all the press conferences.. just sitting in the back watching and not getting involved. I saw him get up from around the 5th or 6th row and shake hands w/ Shawn Springs ...

Iffy will probably go w/ #29. Remember last year when he tried to give his #26 to Chad Morton who also wore that # since they were teammates at USC. So Iffy will have no problem giving his # to CPo. 8)
