Re: Draft Countdown

When will the draft countdown begin? lol....I am already thinking about next year...I'll see you guys at Training Camp...have a wonderful off-season.

I'm starting now, but I can guarantee one player with the Skins:

Dexter Manley, Jr.

I will say the Skins need role players in the D-Line ...

Well, this gets interesting:

Jamal Lewis signs with the Browns, meaning the whole draft board is screwed up. If the Browns stay at 3, they're going to draft Quinn, but Cleveland might trade with NE, who have two first round picks and can pickup Calvin Johnson. If the latter scenario were to ...

Ok, let's look at the situation for the first 5 teams:

Oakland- Going to get Russell, no brainer.
Detroit- I don't know, they're the wild card in this. They could get Quinn, Johnson, or Peterson, or a surprise pick.
Cleveland- Maybe Quinn, Peterson, or a defensive player, might be the team that ...

If the Lions need a RB so bad why not get this guy ?

And they wouldn't have to trade their top corner

You know what's interesting, that could be in play since I heard Kevin Jones's injury is very serious and might not be back. But, I can't see Adrian Peterson in that team because Mike Martz ...

Finally, someone is listening to the my Terdell Sands move. You need him in your defense and he can come in and make a huge impact.

As for the draft. there are times you need to stay in your position, or you need to move down. In 2004 and 2005, the Redskins were right to stay in their position ...

Good. Just making sure. I think trading down would be a really good idea. We need picks and we can still get a good player in the later first round. Not to mention we could us the break on the cap for a top 10 pick. Lets just hope that we don't blow this. Its a great opportunity for us to do ...

If anything for an offense needed for FA or Draft, its a tall WR. You can use Lloyd or Brunell for trade bait if you want, but that would be unlikely. But if I were at #6, trade the pick to someone who has a lot of draft picks in the first day and get good value like a young LB or DB. Everyone is ...

Hello everyone,

Since the the season is over, the real season begins. Let me say its has been a dissappointing season. This year, offense improved, but the defense sank like the Titanic. Here's what to do in offense: dump Brunell, Lloyd and get a tall receiver either by draft or FA.

FedEx Seats

Hey guys,

Long time, no talk. Finally went to my first game in their regular season opener and it was fun.

Now, I have tickets for the Titans game, but its at Section 222, row 22. Of what I heard, its an obstructed view. Does anyone know of these seats? I want to go, but I don't want to see a ...

I don't mind the move and if Gibbs believes Rocky was not going to be there and loves the guy, you make the move. There are no guarantees for this draft and next year's draft and they have to go. And if people are worried about a 6 round pick, remember there is the undrafted free agency Gibbs said ...

Good list, but add one more: Julian Peterson. He's a DC native and a good replacement for LaVar. A coverage guy, but is very tall for his position and athletic. I would add Adam Vinateri. Hell 2 mil is a bargain if your the best clutch player.

I have no idea what were doing. Unless they have a true masterful plan of trading Rod Gardner or Mark Brunell (unlikely), this leaves a lot of question marks. Well, if there'a a positive sude, we can now look at DMac as our red zone guy. They better make it in the later rounds.

Ok, first, we are not getting Buchnanon because the Raiders made the trade with the Texans for a 2nd and 3rd rd pick (ESPN).

Now, with this new development, this adds a lot of intrigue. Now, if I heard this correct, the Skins are focusing on QB in #25. What you don't realize they say QB. This ...

Ok, now it gets interesting. As I see it, it's a wait and see for the Skins. The Vikings have now become part of the puzzle. If the rumor is true and they move up to the top 3, this bodes well for the Skins to get Mike Williams. However, if that plan doesn't go through, trade down and find a suitor ...

I love your reasoning, probably that is the scenario we could face. I do not think we are going to get a RB. We are set in that position. In the later rounds, expect to go O-line for some reason other than depth. So, I think we should focus on SD and get their last two picks, if the rumor is true ...

Well Boss, I agree that Tampa likes Mike, but remember, he had a good look at Carnell during the Senior Bowl and Michael Pittman I think is up on age in the late 20s, so RB could be the route for the Bucs. Either way, were getting one of the top two receivers after what's going down.

Well, The Vikings signed Travis Taylor, so the chances of getting either Williams or Edwards has shot up. I really don't think Minnesota will get a WR in the draft now because they got three solid receivers that Culpepper can deal with. Now, my wish is either Dallas or San Diego move to the eighth ...

It is sad that Smoot left, but I don't think its going to hit us that hard. You have to trust Gregg in that he has a top 5 defense for 6 years. So I think he can find talent.

Now, for people who said we're picking corner as our first pick, just look at the New England Patriots. That should be ...
