I'll also weigh in with a vote in favor of Samuels doing whatever it takes to ensure a long and healthy life after football. With that said, I hope he recovers quickly and plays for us again. But I'll understand if he's not able to.

Its actually pretty awesome to see a skat back turn into a power back I dont think I have ever seen that and to see that big run he had was purely legs and the the game winning run was the same power. GO CP!

Did I miss something? When was Portis ever a skat back?

When he was rushing for 1 ...

Peter King on this year's HOF Class

I heard Peter King on the radio with Dan Patrick this morning. I found this quote, among a bunch of others, pretty ridiculous.

"There are no slam dunks this year. Nobody is a lock."

Apparently he forgot that Darrell Green was on the ballot. Oh wait, I forgot, he was a life-long Washington ...

I say let go of Griffin and Springs.Springs might of had a good season but hes old, injury prone. And we have Rogers and Smoot right now.We can take a 1st round prospect CB in the second round .But I like Springs so I would actually keep him.

But as for Griffin let him go.He hasn't been the pass ...

If this was just about Snyder wanting to comply with the Rooney rule he could have interviewed Greg Blatche, Gregg Williams, and Al Saunders and been done with it.

Sup Luva, it's been a while man...

I have a disagreement though...

If they want to deal Betts, hold onto him for another year and let his stock rise. He hasn't done enough to warrant a higher demand but people see that he's a beast. If we can pad his stats we can get a bit more.

There's already not enough balls to go around. How quickly we forget that Brandon Lloyd was an un-tapped resource last season, and that Antwan Randle El would show up in the box-score once every few games.

Brandon Lloyd will be back for a couple of reasons. Firstly because he's a better 2nd receiver than anybody else this team could potentially bring in and secondly because the receiver position isn't a concern right now. This team has too many wholes to fill, and creating another one ...

What happens when Ladell gets hurt? He has never not missed a game, and that is in a career in which he's never been a feature-back? I love the way he plays thought his 155-yard effort yesterday was sterling but this is the kind of stuff that makes me lose respect for Redskins fans.

2. Give Al ...

Suisham didn't have a kick land any further than 5 yards from the endzone, and actually put two of his three kicks within three-yards of the goal line. He also had plenty of leg on that 50-yarder, but missed it a little left. Sadly enough --- he was a major improvement.

Gaines Adams (DE from Clemson) or Leon Hall (CB from Michigan)

No comparisons to the Yankees, none at all.
Difference? Yankees win, win, win, get to post-season, win a few, win w/o stars (sheffield, matsui), win with mediocre pitching..go to playoffs like 12 years straight, win 4-5 titles in last 10 years.
They spend $$ and at least win during the season.

I don't want to make excuses for the horiffic first-half of the season that the Redskins are having. They've looked bad. Really bad, and I think everyone on this board would agree with that.

That could lead to 2 losses for this team. The Titans came off of a fluke 1 point game and they're confident right now. They also have nothing to lose. The Colts will be healthy for the first time all year in week 7.

Without question Brunell's inability to execute even the most menial of tasks is this offense's biggest problems. There's no other options on this team though. If Brunell looks like crap against the Texans it'll be Campbell's time, not because he's ready, but by default.

Patten, Duckett, Betts ...
