He liked the area and he'll need to put the Minny chapter behind him. Retracing his steps might be a good move for him. Bring him in as a nickle back and see what he brings.

I agree he wasn't worth the money he wanted but at a lower cost he'd be better than Wright

I agree but if you believe ...

Which is exactly why the freeagent class this year will be weak. Its exactly why have only 1 pick above #125 is such a huge flaw for us and our aging defense.

My thought was to pick him up as a nickel corner. I had hoped that the years in Minny would have humbled him, but according to that interview I was wrong. He thinks that he is a quality starter that is getting paid, and deserving of $4.7 million. He isn't willing to be a third corner back or take a ...

I'm praying for Lance Briggs, I know some have said we have no chance at him because da bears will franchise him, however isn't the rule that you can still sign away a franchise player you just have to give two first rounders? Because after seeing the way Briggs has played all year and especially ...

This is one of those thing you really couldnt have seen coming! Actually, I repeatedly stated that I thought getting rid of Walt Harris was a mistake. People here kept heaping the blame on him. But his cap hit was high and he was getting old, so I didn't get upset when he left. But yes, you could ...

Jamarcus Russell isn't the thinking man's QB. LSU fans won't admit it if he leaves after the Notre Dame game performance, but MANY of them wanted Flynn starting most of the year.

Jamarcus Russell is a QB who has a high risk factor as far the mental set goes. He will probably pick everything up ...

I like the Oline depth, CB help, and Dline upgrades. I think that if we focus on these areas we will be good to go.

Problem is that this is the exact same needs that we have had for two years....and we haven't done anything yet.

I'm telling you this years FA class is going to be weaker than ...

I'm all for using draft pcks on both lines. Right now a stud DT or DE would be the way to go I think. We have used so many 1st round picks on our secondary in the last six years and where does it leave us now?

The problem with our defensei s age. We are too old. And giving away guys and picks is ...

Our offense is frighteningly young! We could stand to have some youth at the TE, and interior line positions but overall that is a very young unit. When these guys spend a few more years together (assuming we don't "Ryan Clark" them) we will have a scary offense.

But the Defense is aging, and ...

OK, we can't "Blow-up" the defense, because we don't have the draft picks to re-stock. Letting to many guys go will result in a huge cap bite. Our defense is aging, and injured. This coupled with the decision to let young talent guys go has crippled us. Now, I'm not happy with Williams decisions ...

Why in the world would you want Samuels and Jansen replaced? Did I misunderstand you? We definetly need to start grooming some young Linemen, but what have those two done over the past six years besides anchor a top ten line?
