Did anyone pick Tyrod Taylor?

No, he is still available. Personally, I wouldn't mind grabbing him with our next pick.

Please no. That would be an absolute waste of a pick. He cannot play in the NFL. I watched a lot of his games and he makes terrible decisions. I'd rather they choose a PK and ...

While we're talking about good articles, check this one out about Shanahan, written in 1998 when he was winning SB's with the Broncos. I got the tingles reading it.

If all an OT had to do was pass block then Okung would probably be the better choice. However, half or more of the offensive play calls will likely be runs so we have to evaluate talent on both aspects of the position.

Do I think Mike Vick is the best at running from the QB position ever? Yes
Do ...

What you assume is that Mike Shanahan thinks Trent Williams is a better pass blocker than Russell Okung. He doesn't. He is gambling on his scheme as opposed to taking the better player.
Actually, I think we are assuming much the opposite, and every article that has been posted so far supports ...

In Shanahan and Allen I do not trust. Management has done next to nothing that's not questionable. It's the opposite of sound. It's chance-taking and radical, ideosyncratic and without clear objectives. Virtually every acquisition we've made has a big question mark beside it? Even the ones we haven ...

Re: Welcome Trent Williams

And thank you Washington for taking Williams instead of Okung. Williams puts up 23 reps of 225lbs while Okung puts up 38 reps. Okung allowed only one sack all last year. Yeah, welcome Trent Williams and please remember to yell "look out" after each snap. Nice first post, unfortunately, it would be ...

4 wins last season

One of the worst displays of coaching with Zorn to a proven super bowl winner in Shanahan...and a guy who runs a disciplined team.

Jason Campbell couldn't hit a deep ball or many others beyond 2 yards to save his life to McNabb who is a clear improvement, even if he is not ...

now we can just snooze until what, the 4th round or something??? You COULD snooze, or you could watch the Caps win their first round series on Friday. I'm pretty sure the skins worked it this way on purpose.

About Williams, I'm not completely sold on him yet, but I wasn't sold on Okung either ...

Somebody tell me something GREAT about this Bruce Allen guy..? Don't know much about him..... don't want to read Wiki right now.....
Well, this might be a stretch but...
In 2005 Bruce Allen was the GM for Tampa Bay, who the Redskins beat in the playoffs 17-10, for our only playoff win this ...

That letter really sums up my feelings as well. If you read the comments below the article there is also a really good comment by 'DownTownClown' that also hit home for me.

The frustration on field is obvious.

If Coles/Moss said that, it makes you wonder if they're losing faith in Brunell also. Listening to Marks post-game interview, you could tell that he knew he lost that game.

There was one play where Moss beat his man pretty badly down the sideline and there ...

Re: Redskins update:

-Vinny said we're only carrying 5 WRs.

1. Moss
2. Llyod
3. ARE
4. Patten - Vinny said David has been SPECTACULAR. He's looked great. He's healthy. He never asked for a trade to the Bears and if he did it would not have been allowed.
5. Thrash

When Vinny said this, he didn't actually list ...

Man I love CP. He is such a team guy. I would never have thought he was such a gamer when he came over from denver. I thought he was kinda a me first guy, but man I am impressed. he just wants to win. Gotta love it

I love listening to him talk, because the football and team oriented principles ...
