I think the sample of tape guys use to write about players is time-strapped and inadequate. How can you take anything away from "There are questions about his ability to engage in space"? The player bio's are so contradictory and vague it really makes it hard to believe they know what they're ...

I can't seem to post links to SMU mustang football games but this guy absolutely never takes a step backwards against the bull rush. Just watch their games, LG #77 this guy is going to start from day 1 and he'll be a pro bowler. I'm calling it first based on what I see on tape. He looks like Tre ...

We all assumed Haynesworth was gone within a week of the conditioning tests, but there were many chances for redemption in a practice-u-play team.

This story is far from over, McNabb could very well start next year if he comes into camp sharp

What has been lost is that Donovan hasn't been thrown under the bus, technically this is an evaluation period and he's still captain and Mike hasn't ruled out anything for him possibly starting next year. That shows alot of class in a difficult situation in which Mike could have pointed to the ...

Did he not in his last draft get-

QB Cutler
WR Brandon Marshall
DE Elvis Dumerville
RB Peyton Hillis

as well as two Guards that have started 50+ games all in one regular draft?

Even the mindless fans that don't do research have to recognize these names. How many Redskins drafts in ten ...

Good for Mike Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan(who brings his own credentials) for doing what needed to be done. If McNabb had played that well in any of the last six games(1-5) it may not have come to this.

This is McNabb's fault for not improving during the season. At least someone has the cahones ...

Personel Holdovers

With our sights zeroing in on the draft and the roster preparing for turnover, decisions will need to be made determining backups, injured, and special teams players. This begs the question, who stays?

Perry Riley - writers from the Post questioned why they would cut Hunter Smith for losing a ...

Shanahan has a career 150-100 record(or so), I don't care what it looks like, I want a piece of that pie every year.

Can't give Mcnabb years to develop in this system, he needs to be effecive immediately.

Rex has a good game today, mark it down

I like how jobs are constantly on the line, Heyer/Brown was to keep Jamal from getting injured but Ligtenshiger (or however it's spelled) and Dockery are apparently close enough in practice that the coaches wanted film on both of them as well as to keep them fresh. It's really extraordinary we ...

I like Riley alot better than Blades, who looks to me like lifetime backup material. I'm just afraid the dynamic of the Defense will change if we go from having an aggressive field-rover to having a hole in the middle of the field

We need a Stud LB in the next draft

Redskins fans have come to embrace a defense that for the past few years has held it's own without much of a whimper from the offense. Possibly the biggest contributer is London Fletcher. Fletcher's year in, year out statistics are mind boggling and unbelievably consistent. His consistency is what ...

Grossman showed what we can expect from McNabb once he is comfortable with the system. Call it Busch league if you want but both QB's had ratings in the 120 range, not bad for the first test drive.

The only negative I noticed was the broadcast featured a moment between plays when the announcer ...

Flat out disagree with the notion of shipping this guy. At the end of the day we want the best pass rush in the game. How many other teams have superior D-tackles to compliment top tier pass rushing Ends? Maybe Minnesota and Pittsburg kind of. With Orakpo and Haynesworth on the same line regardless ...

The Haynesworth Reception

It's just a matter of days until this offseason's most expensive topic reaches a conclusion. For now that is. It is especially interesting because of how far apart the two sides seemed to be and how outspoken so many were. It's likely to be an incredibly awkward first day of minicamp, with nearly a ...

NFL Network has a clip about Vincent Jackson training in Arizona at a facility where he's been catching passes from DMcNabb. This is a clear sign of change if anyone hasn't bought into it yet. None of the previous regimes had the nerve to fly our QB to a remote location to throw passes to a ...

Here's my take - Albert missed the voluntary and mandatory camps because he ate too much and decided that the $10,000 fine would be less of a problem than giving himself until the end of July to appear fit. For a player of his magnitude, he could simply lose the water weight and even in a weakened ...

Micheal Wilbon's reaction and what to do now

In our nations capital, the endless saga continues with yet another "circumstance" that does not seem to happen in other cities. This of course, is Albert Haynesworth. Today on ESPN980, the hosts were fortunate enough to get a call from Micheal Wilbon in order for him to weigh in on the Haynesworth ...
