I definatly think it would be a nice gamble. I dont think he would be as expensive as one might think. With the problems he's had and his lack of productivity since being the #1 overall pick there would be no leverage when it would come to him commanding a lucrative contract. Greg Williams would ...

First of all Williams ran in the 4.5 - 4.6 range. Second of all why would anyone choose D. McCants over Mike Williams. Thats just plain silly. Besides all the speculation, which is interesting, i dont even think wr is a top priority anymore. Ide be surprised, albeit happy, if M. Williams is on our ...

Mike Williams is the real deal and D. McCants is a wannabe. There will be no comparison to the two once Williams hits the NFL. D. McCants will never be a #1 receiver in this league and Mike Williams has unlimited potential to be just that.

Dont expect much to happen until draft day. Its not like we have a lot of wiggle room and we still have to be able to accomadate a top 10 pick if we dont trade down.

NE has the same front office set-up as the redskins? Mmmk well i guess Scott Pioli isnt a gm and the best right now in the league too. When joe gibbs was great he had Bobby Beathard. A GM. How many successful coaches are their that made both player personnell decisions and were the head coach? Not ...

Just because he's a good buisness man and knows how to market this team doesnt mean he knows what he's doing when it comes to football decisions. This isnt Madden. When he leaves the football decisions to the guys who know what their doing is when he will have learned from his mistakes.

I guess i stand alone when i say that i dont want Dan Snyder doing anything other than puting his name on the checks. i love gibbs and if u call this clearing up a mess then fine. It is a mess that he wouldnt have to clean up if we had stability at the top. Like a quality GM.

Ehh no im not Micheal wilbon and im not hammering anyone. We need a steady direction with a quality GM though. To many hands in the cookie jar for too long. With a gm and defined roles we can make sure we are much more consistent from year to year.

What we really need is....

A GM that will give this franchise a direction to go in. If we had a GM who set the way we are going to be going year to year and allowed JG to worry about coaching we would be better off.

I agree that a tight end is not a pressing need right now, especially with the 9th pick in the draft. C'mon u guys think about it! A cb or wr would be the best route to take with cb having an edge over wr because of the loss of smoot.

Obviously cb. We will need someone to replace fred smoot. I mean what happens if springs got hurt. Who do we have to soften a blow like that. I dont want to hear that bolgna about g. wilds either. He hasnt proven anything. Plus a really good cb is far fewer then good wr's.

All im saying is we have the quarterback situation squared away (we hope) and we have what should be a formidable o-line. A guy like gardner could be a factor in this sytem where the average reciever we have is about 5'10.

No i haven't either and the only pick i think that would be worth trading him for is a 2nd rounder and i doubt we'll get that. If we do great if not lets bring him back especially with the injury factor with moss. All this i keep hearing about malcontent would be remedied by winning. Any one would ...

You honestly think a 3rd round pick will be more valuable to us next year then Rod Gardner would be? I dont see how u could say that but to each there own.

Gardner not out of the picture yet....

"We have to have value there because Rod is a valuable guy," Gibbs said. "If we can find something that works for us, then that would be great. If not, Rod's on the team and we'll have to go on down the road [with Gardner]."

I think that if we hold on to gardner it would not be such a bad idea ...

Well Smoot may not be the best CB around and he amy not even be as good as Shaun Springs but he will only get better with age and staying within a solid defenseive scheme. I like him and think he is a young and talented CB. I think we should keep him and watch him grow. A 10 million + signing bonus ...
