Can somebody who is an ESPN Insider go to the rumer mill section and tell us what is going on. Apparently ESPN is saying that Chicago is refusing to deal Briggs to us, as for now.

The Freeney and London Fletcher-Baker discussion needs to stop. These signings are the kinds that got the Skins in trouble in the first place. Baker is going to be 32 YEARS OLD next season, and Freeney will cost way more than we can afford. We can only afford one splash signing, and it has to go to ...

I think he's right...or at least I hope he is. I think we draft a DLineman, sign a MLB and DB, and maybe get a little depth on the OLine. No need for anything else. Let's give continuity a try and see how it works.

Wow, I guess this shows that despite how bad ST looked on TV this year, he must have been doing things right to get this kind of recognition. I thought this was his worst year as a pro, but it was apparently much better than it looked.

Please say that was sarcastic.

First, Johnson probably won't be on the board by the time we get to him.

Second, we have three receivers that can play..

Third, and most important, we have NO pass rush from our ends, a beat-up and underachieving secondary, and needed improvement in our MLB ...

Golston is the reason I think we should go after a good pass rushing D-End, like Gaines Adams. Branch would be an upgrade and is a good 40 pounds heavier than Golston, but I really have more confidence in Golston to turn into a great player than I do in our ends to get to the QB.

Is it just me, or should we move Sean Taylor to Strong Safety , where he can worry about smashing skulls first and covering the pass second. Then we can get a true FS (there will be plenty in the draft I think) to do what FS are supposed to do, and PREVENT THE DEEP PASS.

Also, I agree, Marshall ...

ESPN's Power Rankings says that word on the street is that we are going hard after CB Nate Clemens in the offseason. Has anyone actually heard this, or is this just more ESPN rumormill bullcrap?

Old-Timer, I completely agree with you, but you missed my point. Brunnell is playing poorly, but it isn't his decision to be in the game. Lawson as a replacement for Arrington?

With Lavar out of the picture, could we use our 2nd rounder to scoop up Manny Lawson? He played DE at NC State, but he ran a rediculous 4.43 at the combine and is probably going to play outside LB. Do we get a hybrid guy like this, have him play WLB and rush off the end on 3rd down situations? I ...

Absolutely NOT
