He played great, as Gibbs would say.... he played his guts out and played very smart. He did play very smart, no mistakes and looked very comfortable, mobile and confident.

In other words..... I think we've got ourselves a franchise QB.

It's not 100% Brunell's fault, but he is a major factor. He can't throw the long ball accurately, he rarely throws over the middle (because he doesn't have the arm strength), he's not mobile, he doesn't read the field and defense (he looks for one receiver only), he's no threat to any defense (and ...

Well I am changing my tune about Brunell once and for all...... he's one of the great QBs in Redskins history. He's had his ups and downs like anyone else and I will support our QB..... whomever is playing. But he has truly shown team leadership and how well he is capable of playing in the past 2 ...

I'm a Brunell doubter, I think he played very well today. I don't hate him, I just want the Skins to have the best chance at the post season and I'm not sure Brunell is the answer. As previously stated, kudos go to Saunders for changing the offense to compliment Brunells strengths and playing Gibbs ...

I agree with all of you, no way we can make the post season with Brunell. As previously said, he's playing like he did 2 years ago when he was hurt. He's just old and washed up, it's painful to watch him play, he throws away way too many passes and as already said...... accuracy..... what's that.

You guys are killin' me, it's been one freakin' game. Of all the games I watched this weekend there wasn't one team I saw that looked great, even the Colts who have had a great team the last 3-5 years looked very sloppy.

Goodness dude, they only scored 16 points. How many points do you expect this defense to hold teams to every week...? Especially with our offense not eating time up and letting the guys catch their breath.

The problem isn't Brunell, it's the O line, they were terrible. They gave Brunell no time to throw, he was hurried way too many times. The O line looked like this against the Pats in preseason and need to tighten up and plug the holes. No QB is going to perform while being chased half the time.
