Thanks for posting that, it brought back so many memories. Monk was unbelievable and our defense was fearless.

Speaking of running the ball, why wasn't Duckett used more? Why do we keep ignoring this guy? He's a big, bruising runner who averaged 5 yds/carry yesterday, and we've got him riding the bench?!?! Makes no sense at all!

I agree, I've been wondering the same thing all year, when he does play he ...

He played great, as Gibbs would say.... he played his guts out and played very smart. He did play very smart, no mistakes and looked very comfortable, mobile and confident.

In other words..... I think we've got ourselves a franchise QB.

It's not 100% Brunell's fault, but he is a major factor. He can't throw the long ball accurately, he rarely throws over the middle (because he doesn't have the arm strength), he's not mobile, he doesn't read the field and defense (he looks for one receiver only), he's no threat to any defense (and ...

I'll be on the bandwagon until we've got 8 or 9 losses in the column. You never know for sure until it's over. . .

We'll know later this week. If Brunell remains the starter, it's over. If Campbell gets a shot, there's the faintest glimmer of hope.

I would say there is hope this year if ...

I'm starting to get tired fo Portis' negative attitude. He's been grumpy ever since he go hurt in preseason. Is there something going on behind the scenes with Portis? He is supposed to be a team leader but he sure is not acting like one.

You have got to be joking? Portis is the hardest playing ...

I posted this elsewhere but its pertinent here......

Look, I respect everyone's opinions and up until this week I was pro-Gibbs and even pro-Brunell but the reality is it will take a miracle to salvage this season. To not go with Campbell is, IMO, wasting each week. We HAVE to see what he's got ...

After that loss we just had, I don't even want to think about the Colts, we're going to get killed. We can't defend against any pass over 20 yards so Manning is going to eat us alive.

Wouldn't it be nice for a change to be like Indy, or NE, or one of those consistently competitive teams, where the only thing people are wondering is how deep in the playoffs they'll go, instead of wondering if we'll even make the playoffs? At one time, this team was like that. I want those days ...

You call it "canned" answers, I call it class. i'm sorry but it's a very simple fact: good QBs don't need everything around them to be perfect.

So I guess since Dan Marino never took the Dolphins to a Super Bowl and won it was all his fault? He was one of the games greatest QBs..... but he couldn't do it all on his own. There is a reason ...

I agree with all of you, no way we can make the post season with Brunell. As previously said, he's playing like he did 2 years ago when he was hurt. He's just old and washed up, it's painful to watch him play, he throws away way too many passes and as already said...... accuracy..... what's that.

The problem isn't Brunell, it's the O line, they were terrible. They gave Brunell no time to throw, he was hurried way too many times. The O line looked like this against the Pats in preseason and need to tighten up and plug the holes. No QB is going to perform while being chased half the time.
