Hopefully Griffin can get well and get back on the field as soon as possible
There is no way that anyone is going to let he, Jackson or anyone back on the field before they are ready - we have been down that road
hopefully Cousins can play well & stay healthy - there is no doubt in my mind that ...

Re: Philly Game Thoughts
It will be interesting to see how Cousins does practicing the whole week with the first team offense. I understand it was against Jacksonville, but I've seen every snap of Cousins' career and that was by FAR the best he has ever looked. I am hoping it wasn't a fluke and he can play well on Sunday. I ...

Re: DeSean Jackson -- Should we?
Don't want him for a few reasons:
1) Knucklehead;
2) Injury risk;
2) Prima dona; and
3) Will want a lot of money.
We need to spend our remaining cap on linemen...
I know all the talking heads are saying, we need more WRs but I think we have too many other needs to spend more cap space on WR ...

Sproles to Washington?
http://www.csnwashington.com/football-w ... er-sproles
According to this article, Skins are one of the possible landing spots for RB Darren Sproles.
Personally, I don't like it. (Besides Returning kicks/punts) What can he do that Helu can't?
Too many other needs to focus on rather than RB.
Your Thoughts?

Not a huge fan of this. I know they need a CB but Hall has historically played much better in contract years, and much worse after signing multi-year contracts.
Got proof?

From what I have read, Incognito has had problems elsewhere. Martin was a solid starter before the blow up. I'd go after him.

Players seem to like him. Tight Ends have been consistently productive since he took the job in 2011. Give him a chance. He can't be worse than daddy's boy kyle.

Re: Jay Gruden Hired as Redskins New Head Coach
So far, this is what has been reported:
HC Jay Gruden (5 year deal)
OC Sean McVay
DC Jim Haslett or Raheem Morris?
It has also been reported that Haslett might switch to a 4-3 Defense.
It's kind of weird that London Fletcher has come out and been totally against keeping Haslett. Don't know if ...

The consensus on this site seems to think that JG isn't the best guy for the job, (myself included). But there must be a reason that four teams requested to have an interview with him. He must be respected in NFL circles. And i don't think it is because of his last name... at least i hope it isn't ...

Why so quick to reject it?
If we didn't see Cooper on video saying he wanted to fight the niggers at the country music concert would we have said "naaaaw, he didn't say that, that would be idiotic"?
Obviously not saying Shan is or isn't, and not saying that Sharpe isn't just bitter, but why so ...

You guys know I posted this two weeks ago that Jay Gruden was my top choice. Don't see him taking an NFL OC job. My guess is he uses PSU as his stepping stone similar to O'Brien.

Re: Jay Gruden ... Top Candidate
I know its a little harsh to judge Jay Gruden by one game, but I was not impressed with his play calling/clock management today vs San Diego. I understand that not all of that is JG's fault and I also understand that he and Andy Daulton have worked well together and there is no reason him and RG3 ...

I love James Franklin.......but for my college team (Penn State). I think he is a fantastic coach and what he has done at Vandy is remarkable but i think there are better candidates available for the Skins job. I would like a guy with more NFL experience. (Atleast as an OC or a DC). Part of me doesn ...

Re: Cousins: RG III To Have Input On Redskins Coach
This is a non story in my eyes. It is the media's effort to make RG3 appear as a "diva" "brat" or a "prima donna". The fact is, Stafford spoke with caldwell in regards to their head coach opening, Cutler talked to Trestman last year and ESPN doesn't want to talk about them. (Although Adam Schefter ...

Re: Let Orakpo go
I might be thinking crazy here, but to me and even thou I like Rak, I think if he wants the big money it would be time to move on. It is possible that we get an extra 3rd or 4th round pick through a trade or two and draft a diamond in the rough in case Jackson can not step it up. I would sacrifice ...

Oline,Oline OLINE!!!! Please work that into the draft every year.

Re: Redskins will reach out to Bill Cowher
No Cowher. He hasn't coached in years the game has likely passed him by. Give me a top-notched OC that will work with RG3 to bring out the best in him. Darrell Bevell is #1 on my last. He has done remarkable things with Russell Wilson and I feel he is a great playcaller, (Something that we are not ...
