In the 1989 supplemental draft the Cowboys drafted Steve Walsh. They used a number 1 overall pick to do it when they had already drafted future HOF'er Troy Aikman. This never bothered Aikman and look where he is now.

What pisses me off most is that he was returning home from a "club". Now I know he's young and wants to enjoy life "his way" but why when you make that much money you can't have the common sense to hire a driver for that night or simply just book a taxi.

The Skins had Moss and didn't want another Moss type receiver. Plus DJ had character issues. It's not Vinny's fault that the bums he drafted didn't want to work or had injuries.

I remember him and Patton but IMO neither were worth mentioning. Smith only started cuz we were in rebuild mode and we quickly looked to upgrade him. If I'm not mistaken he did play and possibly started for the 49ers.

If RG3 could reach these mins (3700 passing yards, 12 ints, 4 fumble lost, 24 TD passes, and 2 rushing TDs) he could help us to the playoffs this year. I think those are very fair values when compared to other recent rookies that started game one.

He is 6'1" so I strongly doubt he'll ever make it at TE and gaining all that weight means he's probably lost some speed. I see nothing special in this kid I'm sure he'll be cut before the season opener.

For what it's worth he ran a 4.41 40 at 6'1" 224 lbs.

IMO Landry played only 12 good games the entire time he was here now when I say good games I'm referring to all pro level. Out of a possible 80 games he could have played in he only suited up for 64. I wish him luck if he can get his injure under control he still has a lot of football left to redeem ...

Great Move

I hope we can get a long term deal done now and not wait until next off-season to do something. I hate the skins don't try to lock of their vets to extensions. Philly always seems to take care of their own and they do it early and when doing so they probably get bargains.

The way the league changes from one year to the next doesn't necessarily mean last years playoff teams are any more tougher than last season's non playoff teams.

Where are the Saints getting all this money. At the end of the season they were 15mil under the cap and 15 mil went to Brees when they franchised him.
