Lol, that's me! Dan Steinberg got in touch after the news of the game in London was announced.

So there you go, the story of how I became a Skins fan...

Re: London Calling...

Does anybody know of people making the trip over for the game..? Has there been any reports in the media about it..? Just curious as to how many fans would make a holiday out of it and take in the game. We always see a few fans interviewed at games who've flown over for it but I've never seen any ...

Re: London Calling...

Well I have my ticket for Wembley, and I'm really looking forward to it now!

Anybody on this fine site making the trip over..?

There's a big party for Redskins fans the night before the game at a club in central London, some former players going along apparently, should be a blast. Let me know if ...

Re: Jerseys

From back in the day: Manley, Marshall, Green, Riggins, Byner, Taylor were all favourites of mine.

From the current team: Would have been Morris, but I'd say Kerrigan now probably, maybe Reed. I have a feeling that Breeland jerseys could be very popular by the end of the season...

Re: Skins predicted to pick #1 in 2016 draft....

I'm usually a very optimistic person, but I have to say I hold out little hope of this being a good season in any way.

Don't get me wrong, I think we're moving very much in the right direction, loving what SM is doing, building up the trenches, etc.

But this year we're likely gonna stink. And the ...

I think it's fair to say that we are now the only team Browns fans look at and think: "Jeez, I'm glad I don't follow THAT team..."

Re: Snyder NOT involved.... (don't you believe it)....hahaha

I believe that if Snyder did stick his nose in that McCloughan would up and leave. I can't see how he would have taken the job without assurance that it was all on him and Danny would leave it all alone.

Well, you have more faith than probably anyone here. I don't know McCloughan and I presume ...

Sad to see him go as I know we didn't get the best out of him. I know injuries played a part, but he never really got a run or enough of the ball only coming on in 3rd down situations last year. He's got a lot more to his game than that in my opinion.

Good luck to him anyway.

Great signing. Last year was his first where he was allowed to go after the QB and he produced 6 sacks and over 30 pressures. And his best years are ahead of him at just 26.

But the best thing about Paea..?

Well he was born in New Zealand and grew up in Tonga, serious rugby playing country. So ...

Re: B. Mitch: character guys get you a 4-12 season

When I think "questionable character", I think F.Davis & T'Jackson. That's the kind of character that hurts a team. That & lazy players can wreck a franchise.

Yeah, when Allen talks about guys with character I think he means hard-working players that put in extra work when practice finishes and ...

Yeah. I don't have experience with addiction, but this concept of a I can control my drinking absent abstaining is certainly different from what I believed was the typical method. I hope it isn't an issue for him, first, then for us, second.[/quote]

I'm calling it now, he'll go to Dallas. Not soon, mind you, but I think when he leaves DC, that's where he'll end up.
Maybe through an intermediary team. I highly doubt we would trade Bob within the division, or even conference.

OH MY GOD!!!

Can you imagine if the Rams made an offer for him ...

So despite our kicker missing an easy field goal, our special teams looking like crap, AND our defense not being able to cover the pass all game, Cousins was the one who couldn't come through in the clutch? Did I watch the same game yesterday?

Is that in response to me..?

If so, no - I said that ...
