Poorly thought out article. So BA tweeted the letter that he sent to a public figure, responding to a letter that that public figure made public. Makes sense to me.
You may not have agreed that our was the smartest thing to do, but it certainly wasn't a social media bomb.

Re: Actual Film Breakdown - Morgan Moses & Trent Murphy
ey did a film break down for both Moses and Murphy. Now it was only a few games each but itwas interesting how much it changed his opinion of one of them.
He absolutely raved about Trent and the only negative he has on him was that he wasn't a "fast twitch" type player. Which he said meant nothing ...

From what I understand he punted in college too. So maybe they thought he could be their punter and KO specialist.

Re: Biggest Draft Needs
You know I would be personally happy if they select the BPA from RT, OG, ILB, CB, or SS, but I think FS is still an area of need ahead of all of those.

I'm sure, if given the opportunity, he will end up at least as good as Reid Daughty, but probably better. I would still take him over Madoodoo Williams, on a heartbeat.

Re: RYAN CLARK IS A REDSKIN (Again!)
On WR:
I don’t know that the acquisition of Jackson would entirely eliminate the need for a wide receiver. The team still could use a bigger target on the outside. Jackson isn’t that. But if they get the deal done, it gives them more flexibility. The best-player-available route certainly becomes ...

That is good because Jackson isn't a #1. He would be a perfect compliment to Garcon and Roberts.

Re: RYAN CLARK IS A REDSKIN (Again!)
I still say FS is our area of greatest need high in the draft this year (2nd or 3rd round), however having Clark makes it so they can at least take BPA from these possittion FS, SS, RT, OG, ILB, NT, and CB. Add WR if DJax is not signed.

Re: DeSean Jackson -- Should we?
DJax is most definitely overvalued and had never played up to all of the hype that he receives. People talk about him like he is a top flight WR... he isn't.
He is more of an Alvin Harper than a Michael Irvin. He is more of a Rocky Sanders than a Clark or Monk.
With that said... I still want him ...

I like all of your points. To add to them, I think Ryan Clark adds a lot of that leadership that we will be missing from Fletcher. The more and more I think about Clark coming back the more sense it makes.

Re: Merriweather is Back
People have to look at the alternatives. Jarius Byrd got $50M. We have too many needs to have spent that kind of money on one. Mitchell chose the Steelers over the Skins. Nothing you can do there. People forget the term "FREE" in free agent. They sure as heck aren't Free, but they are FREE to turn ...

Size, ability, and talent that he's done what with, exactly? Had a good college career?
He is an extremely explosive reciever and was on the path to becoming one of the NFLs most dangerous recievers when he tore his ACL in 2011. Here is what he did his first three seasons:

Bill Polian ranks him above Aqib Talib, Revis, vantae Davis and a bunch of other CB's. Seems like this was a very good signing.

Every Redskins fan seems to be taking a dump all over Polumbus these days. Most were going as far as saying that Bruce Campbell was his replacement (an absolutely laughable claim, considering that Campbell hasn't done a single thing in the NFL apart from being a combine warrior.)

Whomever they have staying next year I just hope Morris doesn't have to contend with multiple defenders 3 out 4 yards deep in the backfield dozens of time in a game. He must lead th league in making something out of nothing.

I forgot -- "distant third was the talent pool" -- I absolutely do NOT agree with this... our talent on ST was horrible, the worst in the league.

Re: Report: Redskins Interview Jets Special Teams Coordinato
I think the problems we had on STs was (1) quality of players (90%); and (2) coaching (10%).
I disagree, I would say it was just the opposite; 90% coaching, 10% players. Other than Lorenzo we had essentially the same players this year as the year before. Now I do have a caveat on personnel. Mike ...
