I just watched his acceptance speech & the thing I loved most was how he gave Alfred Morris ("my running back") a shout out. Talk about class. RG3 knows what he did to win this award, but he also knows he couldn't have done it without Alfred. These 2 are going to be together setting records for ...

This is the crowning achievement in his fairy tail rookie season. Never before have we seen the type of things that this QB has done. For someone who was concerned about the price paid, the reward has been worth much more. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that 2nd overall pick ...

Good for him for getting this award but IMO he was a big let down. For the amount of $$$ we're paying him I expect a lot more. He's not even on the map when it come to NFL receivers.
Sure he had some block's to help spring some big gains but his numbers were very pedestrian. He may have led the ...

Lichtenstieger is another area of concern for me. Like Polumbus, he played well, better than I anticipated. But he led all linemen in penalties with 10 (6 FS, 3 holding calls & 1 other) + he was injured towards the end of the season. I'm glad for the continuity on the line this season, it has a lot ...

Is Tyler Polumbus the answer?

Polumbus played well this season, but he did have his up's & down's. His pass blocking was suspect at times & he was beat off the line too many times as far as I'm concerned. He has shown that he deserves to be in the NFL considering his draft status But IMO RT is still an area of concern. Even if ...

With the onset of this new K.O. rule, the return man is almost obsolete. As much as we may like a particular return guy who doubles as a WR, you need to look at his productivity as a WR, not as a return guy. We need to keep roster spots open for guys who can contribute on "O". For years the "O" has ...

Armstrong, Anthony: STAYS (#1 receiver)

Austin, Terrence: ? don't know

Banks, Brandon: ? don't know

Johnson, Taurus: GONE (Like price, can't keep a guy who's never caught a pass)

Kelly, Malcolm: GONE (can't stay healthy)

Moss, Santana: STAYS (#3), but shops himself around then comes ...

FA WR's

I just read this interesting article about Veteran WR's. Pat Kirwan of NFL.COM says that these vet. FA WR's should not be looking for big $$$ because it's a buyer's market, not a seller's market considering that 28 WR's were taken in this years draft & 11 were with in the top 83. It goes on to say ...

we have no NT I would venture to say that we'll see a lot more of Anthony Bryant. The guy is huge. He can stop anything that comes up the middle. With Carriker, Bryant now with Jenkins, our "D" line looks to be fairly solid.

Expecting overnight success is crazy.

I whole heartedly agree.

I really don't see how we win more than 4-5 games

Good morning CanesSkins26:

Shanny's first year in Denver he went 8-8. His second year(after another draft) he went 13-3. Considering the fact that we've just had our best draft in many years, why would you think that we'll do no better than 4 ...

To me it's Six of one & half a dozen of the other. I'm not a Orton fan, but I'm even less of a Haynsworth fan.

Why can't we just make due with the QBs we have? If what people say is true, & that we're going to blow chunks next year anyway, does it really matter who's under center? Why not just ...

Food for thought

Did anyone else notice that Philly drafted a kicker? That can only mean one thing & that they plan to part ways with Aikers...right? Even though he's way older than Gano, should we make a play on him? He's automatic. He won't $hit the bed from 30 & he'll make those tough 50+ kicks. I say HELL YA ...

I gotta say...I don't give a rats a$$ who we take tonight as long as a legitimate need is filled. IMO drafting any QB would be a poor move . Whom ever we would draft wouldn't stand a chance. & giving up more picks to get a QB would be the ultimate in stupidity.

We have limited resources this year so we must be very careful as to how we use them. "O" & "D" lines would be smart & relatively ...

That's going to come down to how he's working right now. If he's smart, he's working with the top guy b/c this is his final opportunity to make a push to be our #1. Moss isn't under contract and our current #1 would be Armstrong if we don't resign Moss and cut Kelly. So he has a great opportunity ...

I think his length and playmaking ability allow him to not know the playbook as much as his ability to stay healthy. I personally would LOVE for Malcolm to get healthy and be a valuable contributor on this team but as the saying goes "Can't make the club in the tub."

Shanny just came to the Skins last year. So no, I don't think Kelly or any current Redskins player have had enough time to wrap their head around the playbook.

Keep in mind that most coaches/players say that it takes roughly 3 seasons to fully install an offense. So being that we're moving into ...
