FA WR's

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

FA WR's

Post by fanforlife »

I just read this interesting article about Veteran WR's. Pat Kirwan of NFL.COM says that these vet. FA WR's should not be looking for big $$$ because it's a buyer's market, not a seller's market considering that 28 WR's were taken in this years draft & 11 were with in the top 83. It goes on to say that the average $$$ figure that these guy's can expect is between $700,000 & $1,000,000. Not much more. Plus their contracts would have a tone of incentives. Maybe Moss does stick around to mentor Hankerson & our other young WR's. His best bet at top FA $$$ would be here in D.C.

Interestingly, Santana Moss is tied for the youngest of the profiled Mag 7 receivers and he was the most productive. I am betting after Moss tests the market, he will be back with the Skins.
