Does anyone get the impression that we signed Cory Hall because either (1) the Skins know Sean Taylor may not be showing up for mandatory camp, and/or (2) the Skins are taking their first step to eventually unloading Sean Taylor?

I disagree. It definitely won't be an offensive juggernaut, but i think they will imrpove.

I've never been one for giving draft grades because it seems ridiculous to grade a team's intake before any of these players step on the field. Right now no one has a clue whether or not Jason Campbell will be the next Doug Williams or the next Heath Shuler. Here's my take nonetheless.

It seems highly unlikely that we would trade a guy that we just acquired a few weeks ago.

Additionally, I don't see that scenario as problematic. Who cares if he's a free agent after this year. He would have had an injury plagued year and then sat out another year. That's not gonna get him too ...

While Portis did rack up over 1300 yards this year, I still question his devotion to his coaches and teammates. He's a wonderful talent but still comes across sometimes with a me-first type of attitude.

Depending on how high our pick is, we might be able to trade down and pick up a DE like Marcus Spears out of LSU, as well as add depth to the O-line. just a thought.
