Does anyone get the impression that we signed Cory Hall because either (1) the Skins know Sean Taylor may not be showing up for mandatory camp, and/or (2) the Skins are taking their first step to eventually unloading Sean Taylor?

No...I think they're just trying to add depth to a defense that ...

MMQB Peter King

I'm sure the subject line has already sent some people's blood pressure up but here's what he had to say.

I disagree. It definitely won't be an offensive juggernaut, but i think they will imrpove.
Ramsey will get all the reps and start from week 1. Portis will hopefully have a healthy offensive line this year (one that's had another year to gel together) increasing his potential to break off more home ...

I've never been one for giving draft grades because it seems ridiculous to grade a team's intake before any of these players step on the field. Right now no one has a clue whether or not Jason Campbell will be the next Doug Williams or the next Heath Shuler. Here's my take nonetheless.

I love the ...

If anybody on this team needs time off from football, it's Mark Brunell.....or maybe Ray Brown's 42-year-old bones.

I love Taylor's play on the field, but this guy is really looking like the epitome of prima donna. Someone remind him that he's played one...ONE season. And now he wants time off ...

It seems highly unlikely that we would trade a guy that we just acquired a few weeks ago.

Additionally, I don't see that scenario as problematic. Who cares if he's a free agent after this year. He would have had an injury plagued year and then sat out another year. That's not gonna get him too ...

Probably the most overrated player in the league. The guy paints himself in eye black, acts like a professional wrestler and starts getting attention. Bottom line:

Hovan 2005: 20 tackles, 11 solo, 2 sacks, 0 int, 0 FF
Salave'a 2005: 20 tackles, 18 solo, 2 sacks, 0 int, 1 FF

I've got to go with CB and specifically Antrel Rolle. I'm just enamored with guys from THE U, they're almost always solid draft picks (at least on D). Taylor, Springs, Bowen, Clark, Harris and Rolle roaming in the secondary will give Williams all the freedom he needs in his EXTREMELY aggressive ...

Scottskins hit the nail on the head.

First, I don't believe that losing Smoot (assuming we do) will hurt us at all. He's a solid player and a good guy but Gregg Williams showed what he's capable of last season. Good coaches can win with anybody. Look at the Pats...they win a Super Bowl with ...

While Portis did rack up over 1300 yards this year, I still question his devotion to his coaches and teammates. He's a wonderful talent but still comes across sometimes with a me-first type of attitude.

Obviously he will be a Redskin for many years to come, but I'd just like to be reassured that ...

That is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not sure if you were joking or not. Taylor as been a hug playmaker for that D and is only going to improve. While our offense has struggled, Chris ey has been a bright spot, fitting the H-back position quite well, and I can't imagine that Winslow would've propelled ...

go downfield next week??? Next week's game is absolutely meaningless and we are facing a weak Vikings' D and secondary. I would like to see us, just once, stretch the field. Depending on how high our pick is, we might be able to trade down and pick up a DE like Marcus Spears out of LSU, as well as add depth to the O-line. just a thought.
