Are you ready for some Saturday Afternoon Football????
Wanted to remind ya'll that we will be killing the 49ers on Saturday instead of Sunday so they have a chance to recover for their next game after us!!!!
I hope Portis gets 150+ yards. (He needs it to be able to get close to the 1500yds for the season)

As I see it, the only thing that might help the Niners is that the Skins have to travel across the country to play the game. That's always tough no matter what the talent level of the opponent. Other than that, the Niners are awful and their coach has one foot out of the door. I don't usually get too optimistic, but I think the Skins will win by at least two touchdowns. Fortunately, they've got an extra day to return to DC before having to travel to Dallas.

If I remember it correctly, Gibbs' last game
in his first tenure was at SF ... a playoffs
loss.

I wish more games were on Saturday night. I'd probably be more productive at work in the fall :-)

Thanks for the reminder...

Somehow, I have a feeling that at the end of the season 49ers and Seahawks are going to -trade-...

coaches.

Holmgren always has wanted to be the coach of the niners more than any other team, including GB. Seattle will not go far this season.

We are going to win. But do not become over-confident. The niners won well in a hard fought game against the Cardinals. Their morale is high (at least as high as it can be). We will win but it will not be a massacre. Kepp a good perspective.

The 49ers beat the who? The Cardinals?
I think we can beat both of those teams combined!

The only thing more pathetic than the 49ers this season is the Redskins offense. Our 15th ranked defense should be more than enough to slow down the Skins high powered offense.

By the way did someone say Portis and 150 yards in the same sentence? Maybe if he was still in Denver.

[sarcasm]
Right, because things are going great for the Denver running game, and it's not like Portis has racked up that many yards in a game this season.

Sorry ninerfan! This team is 23 overall, 30 rushing and 19 passing on O and 15 15 & 19 on defense. These numbers are not going to be improving this week.

We may not scare you, but our QB is looking much better each week and our D is trying to show a lot of people that they were very wrong at the begining of the season.

All the 69'ers have done is beat the Cardinals in OT twice. Not much of an accomplishment.
