David Boston Tests Positive For Steroids
Miami Dolphins wide receiver David Boston according to several reports is currently facing a four-game suspension from the National Football League for violating its Policy on Anabolic Steroids. Boston is now in the appeals portion of the process. Should he drop or lose the appeal, he will not only be suspended immediately but he will also lend credence to years of questioning by teammates, opponents, coaches and fans. Possibly worsening the situation, if Boston does not drop his appeal or receive a ruling by this week, Boston's suspension will roll into next year. Boston who weights an impressive 228 pounds has dramatically increased his muscle mass since entering the league six seasons ago in which he weighed in at 205 pounds. He is currently on Injured Reserve after rupturing his patellar tendon during a practice at Houston in early August. The injury required him to have surgery on Aug. 9 and it shelved him for the year. He was acquired this off-season in a trade with the Dolphins that sent a sixth-round pick in the 2005 draft.
