Ever wonder what happens to the people that we meet here at Hogs.net when they suddenly disappear ? I know, I know. You don't notice it right away, but something's missing, right ? When it hits you, you're surprised you didn't notice sooner.
Two of my favorite posters have gone AWOL.
Anybody know what happened to BringThePain and SkinsFanInRoanoke ?

I noticed BTP hadn't been around a few weeks ago, and now that you mention it SFiR hasn't been around in awhile. Life without TheHogs.net has to be hard for a redskin fan.... maybe someone should ask G187 or whatever he's calling himself these days

I thought this might be about players, in that case you'd want to visit: http://www.hsre.com/

lol

Seriously though, where is BTP? You should send him a PM, he'll get an e-mail that way.

I PMed BTP a couple weeks ago because even though he hadn't posted in a while I still saw his name on the "visited within 48 hours list."

It was in the middle of the entire Brunell/Ramsey bit, and he said that he didn't want to deal with all the crap and bad posting that was going up on the board, and so he was going to leave for a little while until things cleared up a little bit. Hopefully he returns--definitely one of my favorite posters as well.

Hope to see both BTP and SFIR return sometime.

I feel BTP pain - tough when we lose. But, misery loves company too.

Yeah, despite the Gibbs bashing from time to time that I don't like, I've generally enjoyed having this board to commiserate on, at the very least.

And there's been plenty of opportunity to do so. . .

Awe... shucks guys... I didn't know anybody ever listened to me.. :)

Anywho... I just wanted to chime in here and let you guys know, that "BringThePain!" isn't just a fair-weather fan... and he's been crying burgundy and gold tears along side the rest of you this whole season...... He's just been busy juggling a full time job and starting a business... there hasn't been much time for play....

I was also tired of the overwhelming number of new people coming in crying as if they thought we were suppose to go to the superbowl this year or something... that never happened in the offseason... we use to be so optimistic in the offseason... it's like your preparing all day for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner....and then that family you are unfortunately related too, comes in .... eats all your sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie... and then tells you it's really not that good... and then they leave and you don't see them again till the following turkey day...Shoo family I'm unfortuantely related too... Shoo....

I'm still poking in from time to time... and when things get all settled on the homefront/workfront, I hope to be back to my regular posting schedule... and then everyone can go back to not listening to me....

Have a Happy Turkey Day! Go Bears!

Out....

Well said BTP, but we still need you around from time to time to keep the "family" straight.

Happy Thanksgiving!
