The-Hogs.net - Washington Football Discussion, Redskins to Commanders Era

.....this evening on the way home from work and to run errands. I listened for about an hour and a half and there was one call , ONE CALL, about the game on Sunday. All the talk is about the T.O. MNF skit, and how great the MNF game was, and the Mcnabb "15 second play", how great all their recievers played on MNF, and the great possibility of the Eagles going 15-1, and the fact that T.O. has great stats, discussions on how the Eagles were a "good play" minus the 11 points, and so on. They are'nt even paying attention to the upcoming game. I hope the Eagles players are looking past this game just as their fans are.

I remember the "body bag" game in 1990...and how badly the Redskins stomped the Eagles in the playoffs that year.

There's your first mistake, listening to an Eagle fan broadcast.
What, you were looking for a head-to-head matchup there ? They're 8-1, Ramsey. We're Pop Warner to them.

I don't get Redskins talk radio where I live, Eagles talk station is all I get.

I can't imagine that Redskins talk radio is any less mind-numbing than Eagles talk radio. I'm not a fan of the medium at all.

'Course, I'm deaf. I couldn't care less, either way.

Yeah I live in NC...so I can pick up Skins Radio. I used to be able to come home from church and watch a Skin's game...but then the Panthers moved in! I hate them! Anyway...I can just tune into the Skin's game whenever!

I live in Winston-Salem NC...and it is on 600 AM. Or you can go to Redskins.com and look up "broadcast info".

cool. been to winston a few times. mainly to ziggy's or ljvm coloseum for heavy bands.

Not many Redskins fans around here! I only have 2 or 3...I need some more to go to games with.

do you have tix? i drive up for every home game. just meet us at the hogs.net tailgate, corner of jericho and arena, closest to the stadium in red lot#4.

Well that would be really cool. I'm looking foward to going to my first Skin's game! CAN'T WAIT!!

I live here in Phiily land and I don't see the media just handing them the SB yet like they did a few years ago... I remember the media started a road to the SB show in week 10 or something...crazy. I think they learned after 3 NFC CG loses to get real. I picked and expect the Eagles to make it to the SB.

i feel your pain as i am in the same boat. i don't think anyone in the country is giving us a shot in this game. we're the biggest underdog of the week according to the oddsmakers.

DEHog - Nice to see Delaware represented with some Skins fans.

I agree. No matter what the Iggles do, even if they had gone 16-0, it doesn't matter until they get over that NFC hump. Personally I hope they don't b/c living where we do will be unbearable if they win.

I may be crazy, but I think we have a legitimate shot this weekend. We can't afford turnovers, but I'll take our D against their O.
