I just heard that Rod Gardener rolled his ankle during today's practice. It isn't supposed to be serious, but he did not practice the rest of the day.

Can anyone say "Hello McCants?" I think I'm liking this!!!!!!! GO D-MAC!!!

All you FF players might want to pick D-Mac up this week, Ramsey is probally more familiar with him than any other WR we have, and Illy has to watch old game tape to try to get up to speed on him

Oh... D-Mac is McCants? i was tryin to figure that out. Thanks. I think Taylor Jacobs and McCants will play. I dunno about Coles. I wish he would have made that catch thrown by Gardner. That woulda tied the game. And we need Hall back, Kimrin is so bad. I hope our team won't give up. I really do.

You don't think Coles will play? You don't think our #1 uninjured receiver will play?

Bring on Darnerien !!!! I told him after the game Sunday that he would play against the Eagles and when he catches that TD pass to remember to bring the ball to me at the Giants game. He laughed....wonder if that means I'm NOT getting that ball ?? Hmmmmm... Oh well....as long as he gets a TD or two - that's okay with me !!

We may have a problem. We have 5 very capeable recivers who each deserve there catches.

If it was up to me I would leave 5 active, start Coles and Gardner.

And have no definate 3, 4 and 5. They should split time by there strengths.

McCants in the Red Zone, because of his size. Jacobs to streach the field because of his speed. Thrash in Run Bolcking/ possesion situations because of his hard work, and ability to fight for extra yardage after the catch.

Nice post, but I would do things a little differently. I would bench Coles. He's dropping WAY too many passes. I think it's his finger. Fine. Let's use Jacobs as our speed guy then. He's proving that he was worth the wait. Heck, Coles has only been getting thrown passes over the middle or short hook routes anyway. I hope that's just because of that weak arm that was in, but maybe things will change a little and we go down the field a bit.

I wouldn't deactivate Coles, but just have him on the bench. Either to think about how he has been playing, or to give his finger time to heal properly.
