Is this true? I mean I watched the game, but could this be right. No sacks on P-Ram? Wow, lets see what happens this week.

No sacks... only two knockdowns.
Large reason... no blitzes.
That will not be the case this week, but we stopped the slide and I think we'll play at least a better brand of football from here on out. Jackson called a better game than Spurrier in terms of protections and play mix IMO.

It was so weired seeing SS pacing the sidelines as Jackson called the plays. Prior to game time, I had no idea that Spurrier had "benched" himslef.
But I could definitely see a difference right away with the play calling...seeing more runs and rollouts by P-Ram.
So, can we ask SS to "bench" himself again??

According to Mike Holmgren in today's Tacoma News Tribune, the Seahawks actually blitzed a total of 16 times on Sunday but the Redskins did a nice job of picking it up.
Who you gonna believe?

According to Spurrier they were definitely going to do the same thing this week Mark. I certainly hope they do, because I think if they can control the clock and keep the offense on the field, they can keep the Panthers offense off the field and old mr. 48 stewing on the sidelines
