My abscence...

I'll be away from the site for a few days to a week after learning that my grandmother passed today. Although I wasn't surprised it hit me kinda hard since she raised me through a great portion of my life.
I ask that you all do a few things for me in my abscence...
1) Somebody make a lot of pointless sarcastic remarks that are not educational and are not meaningful to the boards.
2) Continue hating Cowboy fans! (not forreal hate)
3) Somebody start up another Ramsey thread
Thanks guys, I'll be back in no time.

My prayers will be with you, CLL. Hope all goes alright.
Can't promise that I can do either #1 or #3 for you while you are gone, though. . .

Oh Chris hun, I am so sorry. I hope you get through this and I'm so sorry you lost someone you are so close to.
I can, like FFA, not manage 1 or 3. LOL But I have 2 covered.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Let us know if there's anything we can do. As far as your requests:

I don't think you have to worry about this. There are planty of people to pick up the slack.

Again, not a problem

Probably happened within seconds of your post.
Again, sorry for your loss. I lost a Grandfather last year who was instrumental in my youth, so I can totally sympathize with what you are going through. Keep your chin up and be strong for your family, but make sure to grieve for yourself.

Hey guys, thanks for all of your blessings and support. I'll be back for the next couple of days. The funeral is on Monday and I guess thats when everyone will be in town. It's going to be very very weird for me. Lets just say that my mother has had some unfavorable experiences with her family that involve bigotry, hatred, and ignorance. She really seperated herself from them and out of a number that I dont know I only know my Aunt and grandmother who just passed away. I've always felt kind of weird and lost because I call people who aren't my blood my family because they took my mother in at a young age. So when I possibly see these people on Monday Im not sure how I should act. Its a shame that this is what is going to bring my "family" together. In a way I don't want to go but in a way I do because of my grandmother. I dont even know if this has hit me yet, I've never really been affected by funerals. Not to say that I dont care, but none as of yet have hit close to home. Maybe this will be the one, maybe not. I'm kind of feeling my way through it.
Crazy stuff this thing called life is.

Do it like we do it here at the Hogs.net, Chrissy.
You may not always agree with what's happened, what's being said or done.
At the end of the day, we're family...and our thoughts are with you.
